Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

Swiss,what happened!!??

Sorry to say,what was once a fun little course is now junk! Every year I would come to Florida and look forward to playing Swiss Fairways! This year I could not believe how bad the shape of the course is. Greens on 8 and 9 are about gone! Tee boxes are not level. Fairways are weedy. What a mess! Worst of all ,the back nine is not available for play anymore!! To get 18 in you have to play the front 9 twice! The course shoul put that fact in their desciption! What happened?

Disappointed

Very disappointed with this course. Didn’t know it was now a nine hole course. Had to wait for morning tee times to make the turn. Course was very wet in some spots. Greens were not in good shape at all. Many bare spots. This used to be our go to course. Green fees are the same as when it was an 18 hole course. Not worth it, even using a hot deal. We will not go back. So disappointing.

Over booked / rude disrespectful staff

After having played this course for 6 years and having fun, we had our worst experience ever on a golf course. Having gone from an 18 hole course to a nine hole course using different tees to give an 18 hole feel, this course has not figured out how to book groups so that those on the turn don’t run into those playing first 9. When confronting this situation, the manager/owner totally lost control, using inappropriate language, shaking the golf cart, and we were treated with total disrespect. We will not be returning.
