Park Ridge Golf Course
About
Park Ridge Golf Course transformed what was formerly the site of the Lantana Landfill into a popular municipal course. Construction began on this unique undertaking in 2004 and the end result was certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Sanctuary. The course climbs up to 85 feet, making it one of the highest golf courses in the county. It has a links-style layout that rolls across a variety of elevation changes, offering plenty of stunning views along the way. Such a contoured and hilly course is a rare occurrence in Florida. The golf course provides a challenge with some very tricky par 3s, several blind shots due to the rolling terrain, and strategically placed traps throughout but there are no water hazards except for one lateral hazard. There is also thick rough framing many of the holes.

Everyone needs to play parkridge and enjoy the elevations and challenge of the uphill and downhill holes. Palm Beach County does a great job at all of their courses. The more I play here the more I enjoy the challenge. Put it on your must play list.
Good course to practice at but nothing that’s going to make you scream OMG!
Nice course - staff is nice. Nothing crazy, just a fun little spot down the street from a few 55+ communities.
Thank you for the review, Drew. We are unique in a few ways... First, we have six par 3s, six par 4s and six par 5s to make up our par of 72. Second, we are the only course in the area with drastic elevation changes since we are built on a retired landfill. We're sorry that the approach shot on number 8 didn't have you screaming "OMG", but maybe next time it will. Until then, keep 'em in the short stuff!
Is this really in South Florida
Playing Park Ridge seems like we teleported to a different state to play golf. The elevation change and views were incredible; it felt like we were playing in the mountains. What an incredible course!
Thank you for the wonderful view. Being built on a retired landfill really does provide for an out-of-state feel when you are playing up and down the rolling hills. We hope to see you again soon!
Always a Pleasure
Always a pleasure to play Park Ridge. We had one bad experience--but it can happen anywhere. A guy behind us yelled & then hit into us. We quit instead of putting up with that. We always let people through if they play faster than us. This guy just doesn't play well with others.
But otherwise, it was beautiful.
Favorite course
Hilly terrain and water make this a very interesting course to play. It’s our favorite course in the area.
Good Course for New Golfers
Enjoyed a round with my wife. Generous fairways and well conditioned but not too tough greens make this a great course for a new golfer. The tips at 6700 make it challenging for all but single digit handicaps. The absence of water makes the course friendly- you are not going to go though a sleeve of balls, encouraging for new golfers.
We are so happy to hear that you and your wife enjoyed yourselves and we hope that we will see you again very soon!
Nice tract, Nice people, fun day
Staff were all great. Course was in very good shape and greens ran smooth at decent speed. Nice to have a course with hills, here in the land of flatness (south Florida). Uphill, downhill and side hill lies added fun and variety to shot execution.

Good Course, Staff needs improvement.
This is a fun, interesting, & unique (for S FL) course to play. Reasonable value for the $. Staff is not friendly.

Windy day but very challenging course, great greens, have to go back when wind dies down, one of the nicest tracks in PBC
Fun Course
Most FL courses are pretty flat. This one is hilly with a lot of interesting topography. We enjoyed it. Want to play it again.
We couldn't agree with you more! Thanks for the kind words and for your continued support of Park Ridge Golf Course.
