Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Nice course!
It’s been a few years since we played this course and it was great to see it was still as nice a course as we remembered. In addition, new management has the pro shop well stocked with LOTS of merchandise for men and women! Thank you!
Always Playable
Course was great from tee to green. There were some areas the turf were thin but the extra rollout made up for chunky shots. Greens were slick as always. I’ll be back soon.
Glad to play this course again
It’s been a few years since we played this course. Since then the back nine has been developed and the pro shop is being stocked very well with men’s and ladies’ items. THANK YOU!! We will definitely return.
1000 square for greens. Pin set 2 foot off fringe.
Course is great has its spots, but very playable . Whoever set the holes sucks. This place has huge greens. Why set the hole so close to the fringe. Everybody I played with wants to tell you that you suck. PGA players don’t play at Arlington. This is a recurring problem here. Give weekend golfers a chance. Garbage hole placement on every hole. Makes no sense. But I’ll come back because I love your course. And I’ll expect the hole placement will be just as bad. Thanks for that hole placement guy.
Very bad shape.
I don’t like to give bad reviews because I own a small business and I know how they can affect you. I have played this course since it was built and I have never seen it in this bad of condition. The price was way over what should have been paid. Staff is always great and wonderful people, but unreal how bad it has gotten. Course is terrible. Over priced.
Good greens, bad fairways
Played this course over the years during the winter, and although I never found the fairways to be good, I've never seen them as bad as they are now. Plenty of roll, but plan to roll your ball onto some vegetation before you hit your next shot. Greens are in good condition, as well as some of the tees. A decent layout with few surprises, so if you can get a tee time at a good price, it's worth a round.
Always Playable
Course was great from tee to green. Greens really slick as they should be. A few wash out areas that need some attention. Otherwise a great course and layout. I’ll be back.
Great value
Best value nearby. Courses pricing has sky rocketed. Good course and best value nearby. Greens were good and rolled true. Fairways could use some work on most every hole grass is extremely tight if any at all.
Good course
Good time.despite the rain. A couple of the greens a little rough but overall a great course.
Average course conditions
Average course condition rating due to fairways could have been a poor rating but because other greens are perfect but the fairways are terrible right now no grass to hit of off and that packs the reward of hitting faiways!
Thin Fairways
Lack of overseeing has caused the fairways to loose much of their turf . Fairways were poor but greens were fine. Pace of play was under 4 hours.
Looks like they didn’t overseed
Many bare spots and little turf on the fairways. Greens were okay but it does’t pay to cut costs by not over seeding.
Surprised
First time playing this course and didn’t know what to expect, turned out to be a great day. The course is wide open and pretty much straightforward, fairways were in good condition the rough was what you get in florida winter. Now the greens were in great condition and so big you can land a helicopter on them, that being said I was always at the opposite end of the flag. I would recommend this course and I am looking forward to playing it again.
Always Fun
Course played well from tee to green. Fairway grass was pretty thin. Greens were slick and fast. Pace was a tad slow but not too bad. I’ll be back out there soon regardless.
