Arlington Ridge Golf Club
About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Arlington's greens are back!
Great to see the greens back at this course I have been hoping and waiting for it to come back. And it didn't disappoint back to fast, firm, and true rolling greens that resulted in a great putting round with a quality score.
Excellent Value
Nice layout, good conditions, and less $40 to play. Not sure how you beat that.
Course in nice condition. Greens firm but putt well. Slow 3 some we followed. Hit multiple balls off tees then wherever cart sign was they would park there. 50-60 yards from green. Maybe AR could move the signs closer. LOL. 245 front. 145 back. Even following a 4some.
Will Never Be Back
I feel we were absolutely ripped off by this course, and I will never be back. I gave it a 3 to try and be fair. The starter was excellent, the greens very good and the course in overall good condition. But we called to see if they was anything available earlier than the first time we saw on GolfNow. And we specifically said that. No Hot Deal, just a regular tee time. The person we spoke to said there was nothing earlier but said he’d make the time for us. He did NOT say it would cost us $7 more per player if he booked it. He gave no price at all, but knew we’d looked on GolfNow. NO WAY should he have made us that time without informing us that it would cost more for him to do it. If we had never mentioned GolfNow I could maybe understand it. But we specifically said we had looked at GolfNow. That is ripping off your customer, and so we will no longer be customers. Which is really too bad, because my father really likes the course. But after this, we’ll NEVER be back
Beautiful course and very accommodating friendly staff!
Slow
Course was in good shape. Staff was great.
Play was very slow. I think extra group(s) were added to the tee sheet in front of us.
Awesome course
The fairways are nice and wide. Greens are true and run fast. It is a great place to play w a nice bar to review your round over a drink / bite to eat.
Nice day, good pace of play
The course was in good shape and pace of play was goo, unlike last time we played we had a threesome in front of us we waited on all day. Greens are good, but hard to read, and not sure speed was consistent hole to hole. Overall it is a nice course and good value for the money
Better than I expected!
The service for the beginning to the time I left was impeccable. All of the staff were well trained and made sure we were well informed! They even accommodated an extra player,... Somebody made a mistake on how many players they wanted. Ok it was me!!!
The conditions of the greens were great, I thought they were true and had good pace to them.
The fairways were in great shape too!! They were well marked, defined and the ball sat up nice!
The tee boxes were they level and well maintained. Kudos to the greenskeeper and the ground crew!!
I will most definitely be going back to play there again!!
Arlington is back!
This course is back where it should be. Greens are in very good shape thanks to a new smart GS and a new mgmt company called Troon. The fairways need a little work but are in good shape. Interesting layout for a 55 & over course. Some holes easy and some holes challenging. Good mix as both. Approx. 6600 yards from the tips. Five sets of tees. I expect this course to be back to opening day (2005) shape in 2 or 3 months. Gary Koch designed course.
