About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Good condition
Nice course in good condition, pace of play was good
Worth the money
They are getting this course back to shape. Greens are 95% back and in very good putting shape. The overseeding of the fairways looks good. The layout is interesting. #1 handicap (5th hole par 4) & #2 handicap (16th hole par 5) are very challenging. Some holes have water lining the fairways. Some holes have water to hit over to get to the fairway. Great assortment of holes. Par 71.....three par 5's. Kudos to the new course superintendent.
Do not play if you are new to golf
This is a beautiful course! Unfortunately I’m new to golf and it was not friendly. Between the players and rangers on the course I have decided this game is not for me. Trying to learn the game, I have had there course pro stand me up on lessons and if you are not good at the game yet the rangers yell at you and the money you spend to play is not good enough. After the the way I was treated at this course a couple of times now, I have decided to give up trying to learn the game. If you are good at the game it will be a good course, but trying to learn, player be ware
Great course
Pretty wide open, a few holes with water. Only a very few spots in the fairway with weeds. Other than that tee, fairway, greens were immaculate.
Thanks for the great review. Hope to see you again in the near future!
Arlington Ridge
Course was a little wet from all the rain. Didn't like that all the par threes had temp tee off areas that were way too short. They could have done two and left the other two for later. All in all it was a nice course just too much rain the last couple of days.
What happened to one of my favorite courses?
Arlington has always been one of our favorite courses, but the conditions this weekend were appalling. Not only was there no notification of recent aeration, many of the tee boxes were decimated and had to be relocated…..
