About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Course was a little wet from all the rain. Didn't like that all the par threes had temp tee off areas that were way too short. They could have done two and left the other two for later. All in all it was a nice course just too much rain the last couple of days.
What happened to one of my favorite courses?
Arlington has always been one of our favorite courses, but the conditions this weekend were appalling. Not only was there no notification of recent aeration, many of the tee boxes were decimated and had to be relocated…..
nice but several holes working on
This is a nice course however they moved several teeboxes into the fairways par 3's were about 70 yards now and a par 4 and a par 5 was moved up about 60-100 yards up from where they should be it would have been nice to have been warned before i purchase the round. I would have played Mission Inn where there was a hot deal available for the same price i paid to play Arlington.

We have communicated that on all email confirmations but if you called to book and were not notified we do apologize. We do our best to notify every guest that books with us but we can still improve. Really nice course, there repairing some t-boxes which was no big deal. Made it a close par3….

Tee boxes are undergoing renovation so a lot of temporary tee boxes. Otherwise course is in very good condition

The course is terrible.
Played there in the past it was nice. Played there Thursday and can’t believe it’s the same course. It will be a while before we play there again.

Played the course many times in the past. Deplorable conditions now. Will not play there again. Will take a couple years to get it in condition .

Pace of Play very very slow!
The pace of play was extremely backed up this day, even with a twosome dropping out ahead of us by the 8th hole, and us having to wait at least 4 to 5 minutes at the following holes. The fairways were in terrible condition with patches of grass not being mowed and what appeared to be some sort of pasture grass growing throughout. Very disappointing as this course was in top condition in the spring when we played it! We would suggest however that some signage is required directing players to the next hole, ie. arrows painted with hole numbers on the car path. We found ourselves at a loss on a number of holes on where to go next! This was our last round in Florida prior to heading north. See you next year!

Play there
Great layout lots of fun course in good condition for no rain I’ll play there many more times .

Dry Conditions
Third and last time playing the course until it rains or they decide to better care for the course. Fairways are like cement. Many courses within a short drive in far better condition.

We appreciate you taking the time to review us, despite the fact that we weren’t able to provide the best experience. At this time we are putting out as much water as possible but it is drought season. We hope as the rainy season comes that you will give us another shot.
I like this course. Layout is good and fairway was in decent shape. Greens were slow to a degree. Overall, my group had a good time in spite of very hot weather.

Hard Fairways
Fairways were dry and way too firm. Tough to get good contact on a well placed ball. Almost like hitting off of concrete in places. Greens are great! Slower than many courses around, but excellent condition. The course badly needs water.

Come fall, all of our par 3's will have new tee boxes and some of our par 4's will have new tee boxes.
