About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Course was in great condition. Greens were very fast and looked the best I’ve seen here. Been playing this course for ten years. Will be back.

Play slow!?
The course is in great condition! What we experienced is probably a one time thing.
We booked early so we could play fast, nobody in front of us. When we checked in, we were asked to play slow or play not too fast? First time I heard that one ;)
What was the case, at 8:30 a shotgun started at hole 7 so we couldn’t go anywhere and if we were playing fast, what we wanted to do, we would be on hole 7 before the shotgun would start.
We played slow and ran into to the shotgun group on hole 8 and had to wait on every hole. But hey, course in great condition and perfect golfweather, not much to complain about.

Wasted day!
I would NOT recommend this course...my husband and I golfed there today and we waited on every hole to tee off between 7-12 minutes.our round of golf took well over 5 and a half hours and we left on hole 15 because we were so frustrated and it was getting dark. We never saw the Marshall after the 3rd hole. This was a ok course, nothing special and clearly over booked! We will not be back.

Clubhouse should combine twosomes.
Pace of play suffers when twosomes are in between foursomes. They should have been combined. This would have improved pace. Otherwise, course looks great.

Just fine, but nothing spectacular
Nice conditions on a wide-open layout with few real hazards. Not much of a chance of losing a ball here. Course is designed for fast play, so if the group ahead of you moves along, you can play 18 here pretty quickly. Well worth the price in the high Winter rate months of February, but I would find this course boring if I had to play it more often than just once in a while. Greens were in good shape, and we had a nice time. Yes, give it a try if you haven't been here before.

Very Good Value
Course was in excellent condition, both fairways and greens. Challenging but fair. Definitely one of the best values in the area.

Average Course
Course was in decent condition for this time of year. Pace of play was quite slow, Ranger just attributed to a very crowded course. Three groups on same hole several times.
