Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Nice course and layout
First time here and will definitely come back. Played from the green tees very challenging.
Club Selection is important
Great layout with lots of undulations, bunkers, difficult pin placements to elevated greens. Plenty of collection areas that will turn pars into bogies. The conditions were very good but lots of casual water due to the hurricane and very wet summer. Once the water is gone this course will be a 5 Star. The staff is great and water or not I go out here once every week or ten days. Great course!
Staff and course
We really enjoy playing this course, it is in such good shape. My only concern is one of the staff member in the pro shop is not very friendly and makes you feel like he doesn't like outsiders to play there.
Always pleasant
Overall the course is in good condition. At present the greens are slow because of recent aeration. In a few weeks when they begin to cut and roll the greens it will be truly a pleasure to play the course once again. Great value thru golfnow. Great place to practice and learn to play the game. So come out and enjoy a good day of golf at Arlington Ridge.
Sneaky Fast
Greens were very quick, rolled true considering all the rain we have had in Lake County. Fairways were great. Due to the rain many of the collection areas were lakes as were the waste bunkers. Just added to the challenge. I play at least once a month here. The course is well kept and the staff is great. Will be back around the 1st of September..
Arlington Ridge...one of our favorites
Arlington Ridge is an excellent layout with lots of challenge. Course is one of the best maintainance-wise in Lake County, FL. We've played several times now and love it.
This is one of my favorite courses. The course is in good condition and the price is right.
Great course
Played on a nice day. The course was in great shape. We played right after they had punched the front 9, but the back was in great shape. Will be down there again soon to play.
Nice place
Played on Sunday, GPS took us to a locked back gate
so we were 5 min late for tee time. The man in the Pro shop was very nice,said no problem sent us out. Course was in very good shape, the greens are very slow, takes a while to try and get speed down. Lived here for years and have never played this course before
was very impressed with it and will work it into our rotation. best value so far this year.
Hot and Breezy at Arlington Ridge Golf Club
Arlington Ridge is located in Lake County and is part of an outstanding Golf Community.
Never having played this course we left a little early to make sure we made our tee time. What a surprise when we arrived 45 minutes early.
The Pro Shop is well equipped and the staff very friendly. We were told to go enjoy the course and have a great day. As it was going to be in the 90's an early start was great.
While on the first tee we were approached by a resident golfer and we asked him to join our twosome. Great choice as he was a good player and we had a great time with him.
The course is wide open with few hazards and large well manicured greens. This would be a great layout for first time golfers and experience golfers alike.

Great course
This course is awesome, friendly staff which is very important, great greens.
Very Impressed
The course was in excellent shape. The greens were outstanding. We played very early, 7:20am, and never ran into other players. We were a twosome and the round was a hour and a half. I have played the course previously and this was the best shape it has ever been in. Highly recommend the place!
