Arlington Ridge Golf Club
About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Monday @ Arlington Ridge
I played my Monday round of 18 holes at Arlington Ridge, just south of Leesburg Florida.
The starter put me with 2 Snow birds from Clermont.
We had a great time, good golf, and a beautiful windy day to enjoy this course.
Nice track but need to take better care of it.
Greens have regressed since January. Very slow. Appears they are growing them out.
Lots of leaf debris on some greens.
Daily maintenance is slipping.
Played in 4 hrs. ++
Went to the pub after. No bartender. Waited then left.
Nice Course and Reasonably Priced
The course was in good condition and the pace of play was fine.
Great Golfing experience
Tip top staff. Friendly helpful. Paired with two excellent golfers who were gracious and delightful to play with. Course in good shape considering dry spell.
Good shape.
Fairways and greens in good condition. Layout essentially flat yet fairly challenging. Standard rates a little high but not terrible.
Worth your time
Nice development course, nothing spectacular in terms of setting or hole design. Decent conditions, with decent, if inconsistent greens. You may find this layout a bit boring if you play it often. Wide, hard fairways will give you lots of roll on your drives. With golf course rates at their high mark at this time of year, Arlington Ridge still remains within reason. Play it once, and see how often you'd like to come back.
Greens were slow and inconsistent
Nice enough course with friendly staff.
Greens let it down being slow and inconsistent.
Good course, most fairways very light on grass and greens a little on the slow side.
Average course for the area, surprised the bar and restaurant was closed before 6 pm.
Had a Great Time - Nice Course-Nice Staff
Played as a single, was added to a group and had a great time. Other golfers were very good players, and friendly as well as staff. Would play this course again. Had a very enjoyable day.
NICE course
Happened upon Arlington Ridge and enjoyed the course, the staff, and the friendly golfers there so much that we'd even consider making Arlington Ridge our winter home!
Arlington - a gem
Played Arlington Ridge today, and found both the greens and fairways in excellent condition. Thoroughly recommend this course to golfers of all standards (there is a .choice of five tees)
Excellent course!
There are 5+ golf courses within 10 miles of my home but I chose to drive the 22+ miles to get to this course. Easily my favorite course in central Florida. The greens are perfect, the fairways are excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend this course to anyone.
Excellent Day on the Links
It was our first time playing Arlington Ridge. I had researched the reviews and they are right, the course is WIDE open! I loved that due to the fact I hit them long but tend to spray often off the tee. I scored 7-8 strokes better due to the confidence factor. The conditions are very good considering the drought for the past 2 months!
Thanks for a great Christmas Eve day round with my boys!!
Very nice course
This is a senior friendly course with wide fairways and very few forced carries over hazards. The greens were large and were on the slow side. Enjoyed our round and will be back.
Would play again and worth the drive
Course was in very good condition and much better than others played in Clermont and Davenport area's this trip. Greens varied in pace which made putting interesting. Not to busy and pace of play was great. As a single player I got matched up with a group and had a great game. Will be playing here again on my next trip to Florida even though it's an hours drive from home. Would recommend Arlington Ridge to anyone.
nice wide areas to hit to...
