Relaxing round with consistent greens
I hadn't played Forest Oaks in years and found my recent round to be a welcomed surprise. Although the years of Florida storms removed the many tall pines that made the layout both picturesque and challenging, the conditions are still charming, fair, and consistent. We ended our round with one of the best chicken salad sandwiches in town and a cold one. I'll be back.
Good value, you get what you pay for.
Layout was interesting, some fun holes. You ride back and forth through the development. Greens were nice, bunkers well groomed, tee boxes need a lot of work. Fair ways are hit and miss.
Great day of golf
Professional and friendly staff, greens look very good. Some of the fairways have some tight lies but playable. As always this course is very challenging but fun. Best green fees in town.
Today at Southwinds
Fair course through condo and home developments. Fairways and rough a bit beat up. Fun for beginners as the length and # of par 3's made it player friendly.
Cold but fun day golfing
Professional and friendly staff. Notice new grass on greens and one of the best and outstanding greens here in Palm Beach County. Course is very challenging but fun. Bring extra balls if you’re not a straight shooter. A must play for any type of golfers and challenge yourself against this course. but the same time have fun. Also best green fees in Palm Beach County.
Could Be Way Better
If you are good with a sub-6000yd course, the layout and design of the holes here is nice. However, the greens were not in good shape and tee boxes had a lot of bald spots. The Sunday morning we played, the staff somehow let back to back pairs play in front of us rather than making a foursome but we were all held up by a group of six clowns messing around that their ranger never took care of. Won't be going back to a while, if ever. Hopefully they address the issues and improve the conditions because the course itself could be fun.
Friendly day with wifes
First, this golf course have no hygienic covid services , rattles in bunkers, operationnel ball cleaners , no pin holes facility to provide safety with the pandemic.
We play at 13.00, on the first nine every hole have the same green challenge, all the pin position are red. They need to work on the fairways, and greens are fast but they need affection. On the second nine, , many holes have private closer residences, be careful on par 5 . I dont realise that I play a 17 age golf course.. Ours wife dont want to play this course again.
Great Round!!
Terrific value, challenging, and in great condition from tee to green. Will be back!
Great value
Do not understand the hate on this course. I’ve played it 3 times in the last two weeks and about to book my 4th. Best value for the money in the area by a lot
Forest oaks
Must have been 30 mile an hour winds , course is very good shape very tough conditions can’t beat it for the price and 3 hour round
Sunday Golf with by brother
They have a guy who works behind the snack bar you have to pay i was shocked, like what am i getting myself into. But as we went to the first tee i calmed down. We had hit muligans because we were not really keeping and accurate score. I had a few pars i was 200 yds out on 17 and crushed a 3 wood on to a small green made birdie and really got pumped. So there is one hole that doglegs left i do no care where you drive there is a big tree, in the way. Its sucks i tried to go over with a 25 degree club thought is went over but come to find my ball had hit a branch now i was under the tree big big tree. That ruined my round. I like the short par 3s its a fun little track but no bag boy one man show from behind the snack bar no direction at all.

Good test
Short course that bites. Just need to work on those greens. Little bit
Thank you for your comment. Palm Beach county changed regulations to put pins, ball washers, rakes back on course. We have over seeded the greens thats why the pins are in the front. Almost done. We thank you for your support.
