The course is narrow and the greens were is good condition.

Always professional & friendly staff, course plays very challenging but fun, lots of improvement around the course greens looking good each week recently.. tee boxes look real good. Highly recommended to all types of golfers. Can’t beat the golf fees.

If it would not have been for getting paired with a great group of guys then I would’ve definitely just left the course. Greens awful with bumps and weeds all over them. Fairways don’t really exist. If you are picky about course condition then this course is not for you

My wife and I (71 years) played Forest Oaks for the first time. We were somewhat anxious considering some of the previous reviews. We teed off about 10 minutes ahead of our 12:45 Hot Deal tee time as a twosome as the other twosome were not ready. The 3-Some Ahead were kind enough to let us play through at 10 and we eventually caught up to a slow 3 some on last few holes but still finished in 3 hours.

The fairways and rough were in good condition and the greens were very good. The greens are on the small side and are all raised. They are fairly soft but quick and great to putt on. There are not a lot of traps and you can chip on from the front. We were only in 2 traps. Pay attention to the course map as water lurks on most holes and is not always obvious. Lots of run on the fairways so be careful. Tee boxes were quite satisfactory. Our gas cart was okay but gave out a squeal each time we accelerated from a stop.

6 par 3’s and half of them are long 170 yards so par is tough. Fairways are narrow but not unreasonablyso. Lots of beautiful trees and Course was well kept. Course winds through a residential area. Some very interesting holes for sure. This is not a Course for big hitters who spray the ball around.

We were met a Bag Drop and he loaded our bags on cart and did the same when we finished, Club House is from 50 years ago but it works (A frame style). My wife was not impressed with toilet facilities. Ice and cold water available next to cart shed for #1 and #10.

All in all a very pleasant day and we are playing again tomorrow and we are looking forward to it. We golf a great deal when we visit Florida and a round for $25 each with cart is welcome. Courses like Forest Oaks deserve the business when they invest in the course as they appear to be doing.

Challenging course with a few narrow fairways and some small greens We really liked the course and had a fun day of golf . Would recommend this to play if u are in the area.

The new administration maintain the course in excellent condition. I strongly recommend this course.

From the second we arrived we felt welcomed.

We felt that they were truly happy to see us, and when you golf as often as we do (4-6 times per week) it does start your round off nice.

Course was narrow but fair, greens were lush and very tricky. Lots of water, course management is a must. We loved it!!!
