Forest Oaks Golf Club in Lake Worth is a public course that is still one of south Florida's best-kept secrets despite having good conditions and affordable rates. The golf course offers an enjoyable round that is challenging but playable. Opened in the 1970s, it has a classic layout that showcases what Florida golf courses are known for. It is a tight layout that requires a fair amount of accuracy but beginners won't feel too out of their league. The layout offers an excellent transition from an executive course. It measures less than 6,000 yards, offering a quick and enjoyable round for more advanced players. Forest Oaks G.C. offers the quality and conditions of a country club course but the friendly and casual atmosphere of a public facility.

Course was in poor condition… 24$ to play 18 with a cart. not bad but wouldn't play it again for the 25min drive i had
Nice course
This place is a nice course front nine somewhat open. Back nine has lots of tight fairways with condos on both sides. Course in pretty good shape greens fast. If your a slicer this place ain't for u.
Déception
Complètement déçu de ce parcours. Le moins beau et intéressant à jouer. Nous étions trois joueurs et nous n'avons jamais vu un seul golfeur devant ou derrière nous. Nous n'y retournerons sûrement pas
Good for short game
This is my third time playing this course. I like the layout and the course is good to tune up one's short game. I was disappointed that the fairways and greens were in such bad condition.
Great on a weekday and 16 bucks a round!
Course is not crowded on weekdays and the folks are very nice. Greens not in great shape and are challenging. Fairways are tight, running in the middle of a very residential area. Short track, don't need driver on many holes and I only hit it about 230 when I really get it flush. I like Forest Oaks for the price, for sure. Thanks for the service!
Bon rapport qualité prix
On en a eu pour notre argent. Le deuxième neuf. ( neuf de retour ) offre une meilleure qualité de terrain .L' absence de Marshall fait en sorte que ce le jeu est très lent. Nous étions constamment retardés par les groupes qui nous précédaient.Cela fait en sorte que nous perdons notre rythme de jeu .

Great course for price
We play here often as we are not good golfers and so here we don't feel pressured.
Interesting tract with a great price
We had one beginner in our group causing us to look for great prices. This course provides even the experienced golfer with a challenge. Tight fairways with slight doglegs force even the longest hitters to hit their best shots.
Not So Great
the course is in disrepair, fairways and greens could use some TLC. Some very tight fairways adjacent to buildings which can be intimidating if you're concerned with damaging property with an errant drive. Considerably more expensive than the nice course I played yesterday! Only played one round here and I usually play at least 36 holes....
Fun Time With Great Value
Only played 9 and the starter put us on the back of the course to avoid a big outing. The course was in pretty good shape. Player spacing was great so we played at a steady pace without waiting or being pushed. Course provided sufficient challenge. This was a real bargain in the area. I would play here again when I am in the area. The course has water but is not so tight as to create extra difficulty.
No improvement
This golf course is on a decline, the green are very hard to play. We have play this course for many year, but now it is over. Unless the really improve the green we are not going back.

Great Beginning Season Round
I played in Late January....The Greens were in tough shape ( Seasonal Maintenance... is..sandy and seeding), but speaking with the grounds keeper, he advised me in about two weeks and a little rain, they will play well. The front 9 is Open compared to orher area courses, but the back 9 is tough and narrow....Great atmosphere, with some locals in the snack shack restaurant having morning coffee and shooting the breeze...Great starting course for early season to get your grove down...Staff was great and friendly, and extremely nice....Overall I would reccomend to anyone for their top 1 or 2 rounds to get you in the golf mode.Price was AWESOME, 4.5 Stars of 5...Hit Em straight and consistant....

In the works....
It appears that they are w working on course improvements. The greens were recently seeded and there are signs of other improvements. I really hope that they continue with the upgrades as I really enjoy playing this course.
