Forest Oaks Golf Club in Lake Worth is a public course that is still one of south Florida's best-kept secrets despite having good conditions and affordable rates. The golf course offers an enjoyable round that is challenging but playable. Opened in the 1970s, it has a classic layout that showcases what Florida golf courses are known for. It is a tight layout that requires a fair amount of accuracy but beginners won't feel too out of their league. The layout offers an excellent transition from an executive course. It measures less than 6,000 yards, offering a quick and enjoyable round for more advanced players. Forest Oaks G.C. offers the quality and conditions of a country club course but the friendly and casual atmosphere of a public facility.

good cours to play
It is a good golf cours for an average player like us
Course was not wel maintained But was a great value for price
Back 9 were closed . We played front nine twice . Did not know about it . Courses are narrow and not well maintained . Started was super friendly

The course is OK, the fairways are sometimes dry, greens are always excellent. Friendly staff, bend over backwards for you. One of my favorite places to play. Located less than 5 minutes from turnpike exit.

Low prices mean poor condition course.
No grass in the fairways....rough is everywhere. Greens are very bad. Almost no grass on most of them.

There is a good reason fee was so small
It took me a week before I could write this because I really did not want to be negative on my review however I am glad I only paid $7 for the round. The staff is really nice and they seem to be doing all they can,but we were able to lose ball on the fairway because of the weeds growing everywhere. The course would be fairly easy if it were maintained but it is close to unplayable at this time.
Terrible conditions and over priced
Terrible tee boxes, fairways and sandy dry greens. Way overpriced even with the golfnow discount. Stay away from this course.

STAY AWAY even in the summer when the course gets rain there still is no grass!! Its waste of land and should build houses on it!!!!!
enjoyable, well maintained course
Friendly accommodating staff.been there a few times before and each experience was great, even if my game wasn't. Course challenging but still fun for newer golfers. Great afternoon. Would recommend to anyone.
course needs complete overhaul
Course conditions were the worst Ive played. Lets start with some watering, redo greens an tee box.

NO INDICATIONS ABOUT THE HOLES !!!!
This golf course seems not to have many players. The fairways are limite playables but the greens are GREAT.
And for this rate is a very good experience. I think come back again

I played this course strictly due to the hot deal I received on golf now.
The course has no driving range and the putting green has only 2 pins. The tee boxes, “fairways” and greens were in really bad shape. Even the cart path was crumbling. The 16th green was half clovers and half sand/grass. The fairways are very narrow especially the back nine. The back nine looks as if it was wedged in-between all the houses and apartments as an afterthought. Due to the great deal on golfnow I wasn’t upset by the conditions but if I paid full price, I would have demanded my money back after hole number one.
Interesting quality/price ratio
The course's difficulty relates to its narrowness. It's a good mix of par 3,4 and 5. We got a good deal to play so we were satisfied but at regular price we would have been disappointed with the poor state of tee start and greens.
