About

The Golf Club at South Hampton was designed to give every golfer appropriate risk-and-reward opportunities that supply both encouragement to beginners and challenges for more advanced players. The slope and contour of the course’s landscape is its trademark with strategic mounding and over 60 contoured bunkers that emphasize the terrain’s natural undulations. The course features rolling fairways and massive greens. There are also sixteen large lakes that come into play throughout. The signature hole is the tremendous par-5, 17th, which is a scenic hole that features a lake, fairway bunkers, and a breaking green. Although the course is a challenge, there are six sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Course is like a cow pasture

The owners are redesigning the entire course next year so they have not irrigated anywhere on the course in months. At this time it is a $25 a round value.

Course has gotten a lot better since last summer and it’s a wide course that is not punishing. Rough hides your ball well but other than that good solid course. I have now played here about 20 times

Hadn’t played out here since 2023 - dont recall the greens being in that kind of shape. They were not great. Tee boxes and fairways were fine. Around the greens were a little rough as well. The layout of the course is great but was pretty disappointed in the overall conditions of the course. Especially the greens…

Don’t

Front 9 fairways are thinner than Joe Bidens hair. Back fairways got better but, whoever said the greens are improving was either hammered or blind. You’ll miss putts all day with them having to roll through the beach and the Rockies every hole.
