Golf Club At South Hampton

Staff is friendly, a little over priced for the course but overall not bad at all. Stays booked though so if you see a tee time you want to get it because it won't be there long.

Expected more from this course. Tee boxes were mostly dirt. Layout wraps around a neighborhood. Pace of play was 5 1/2 hours. Never saw a marshal.

The saving grace were the finishing holes. Pro shop guy was totally uninterested in helping me out. Hate to pay for worn out range balls.

Won’t go back. St. John’s CC is a much better value.

Played on Friday….fee doesn’t include range balls. Most range balls were pretty worn out, so hard to get feedback on ball striking. Practice putting range needed some work.

Course is wrapped around a neighborhood. Finishing holes are spectacular. Tee boxes need a lot of work, so the superintendent should place the tees where grass is. Too many times we were standing in sandy tee boxes.

Pace of play was fair. Marshall never said anything to the group in front of us, as they were two holes behind the group in front of them. Played in 5 1/2 hours.

Pro shop guy wasn’t too welcoming to a first timer. Sand traps were well kept, putting surface was really scuffed up. Pin placements were okay except for #1 and #10.

Overall, I’d rather play St. John’s CC down the street.

Played 2nd time in the last week. Condition very good. Greens running great.

The course is nice, not pristine. Pace of play can be slow to normal. Tbe pirce continues to go up. $100 for a round with a small bucket. It’s not checking that box by far. Gonna need to look elsewhere it seems. No need to tell them, they don’t care. As long as the members and out of town were

Pay up. The locals can go kick sand.

This course is in great shape. Greens were rolling true (and quick)! One of the best courses to play near the World Golf Village area.

A little worried about too much play. The fairways are getting a little chopped up with divots. Need a little rest. Maybe move the tee blocks up or back would help the fairways in certain areas.

This is a great golf course that is very well maintained and has a great staff… My “go to” course in the area. This is going to sound really picky and I guess it is, but they need to do something about the overwhelming odor in the men’s bathroom. It is absolutely nauseating. Putting air fresheners in there isn’t getting the job done. I don’t stick around for drinks after golf because I don’t want to go in the men’s room.
