About
The Golf Club at South Hampton was designed to give every golfer appropriate risk-and-reward opportunities that supply both encouragement to beginners and challenges for more advanced players. The slope and contour of the course’s landscape is its trademark with strategic mounding and over 60 contoured bunkers that emphasize the terrain’s natural undulations. The course features rolling fairways and massive greens. There are also sixteen large lakes that come into play throughout. The signature hole is the tremendous par-5, 17th, which is a scenic hole that features a lake, fairway bunkers, and a breaking green. Although the course is a challenge, there are six sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Just keep the fringe cut a little shorter. Spend too much time looking for balls.

Great layout. Good condition. Only complaint would be pace of play. Waited in every shot.

Challenging course and very good pace of play. Tee boxes in very good condition and greens in good/very good condition.
Great Layout
I have played this course many times and will highly recommend. But the one thing that keeps me coming back is the large chipping green. It has helped my short game tremendously. Chip in birdies and pars are becoming common in my game now.

Rain out
I went to the course to play it was raining and there was storms in the forecast for the afternoon. So I didn’t play drove 30 minutes there just to find out. They didn’t say anything about charging me for not playing and found out today that you charged me the 60.00 balance which I don’t think is fair. If it’s possible to get a rain check or credit my account would really be appreciated thanks
Poor management behind the front desk, guy was not friendly either. Sent groups out on the back when not busy and really slowed the pace down for groups making the turn. Unnecessary. Loved the course and what it has to offer though.

Another excellent day at South Hampton. Course is in great shape even though it’s only been a week or so since the second green punching of the season. Never disappoints.
Layout was OK but courae was a little ragged.They need to cut more often.
Two golfers. We were the 3rd group out. 2 nd group a foursome, waived us on at the 10 th hole. They were slow. We finished in 3 hrs. And 3 holes ahead of the foursome .Actually I rate it 4.25. When the greens settle in from the aeration and if they continue to service them as a priority the course should be rated even higher. But the concern could end up being the pace of play. I recently had a 4 1/2 hr round at the course with an early start.
