Stoneybrook West Golf Course

Love the course,, play it often it was just a very slow round the group in front of us were at least 3 holes behind no ranger to move them along over 5 hours. It was just one of those days I hope as I would like to play it often.

From North Carolina visiting Florida, I have been going around playing courses for the past 2 weeks and this course by far lives up to its reputation. Beautiful fairways and challenging greens that were in perfect condition and was always attended to for drinks. Highly recommend

I keep going back every 6 mos or so to see if ANY improvements have been made. And there never are any. These conditions are going backwards.

Greens are good. That’s it!

Bunkers-Packed mud in 95% of them.

Fairways-JOKE! Where there isn’t mud, it’s weeds. 90% of the fairways are crap. Rolling your ball several yards just to find a patch of grass. Horrible.

Tee boxes-not horrible. But if this is your standard, you shouldn’t be running a golf course.

Pace-How many reviews do y’all need to read to hire a RANGER? OMG……just do it!!!

Bottom line-Take your money somewhere else. Anyone rating this course higher than a 2-3 star experience HAS to work here. I don’t care how much greens fees are (way too much), there are way too many courses around that do put money back into maintenance.

This is one of my favorite course. A good balance of being fun, challenging, and price. It is usually on the busy side. But yesterday with a group of twenty plus people, the play was slower than usual. Still, a very good course.

Got to course 35 minutes early. Was told all the carts were taken and come get a cart 10 mins before tee time. Did what they told me. Got to tee box early with cart and stsrter told me sorry they sent my group off without me. 15 minutes later he drove me to the 2nd tee and told me to just play hole one at the end of round. Pace of play was super slow. Hole 9 had 4 entire groups on the hole. After 9 i gave up. Wont play course again anytime soon.

My group checked in with the starter more than 30 minutes from our scheduled ttime, but we were told to wait playing until our ttime. No one was waiting at the 1st tee box. Then there were two twosomes who checked in with the starter past their scheduled ttime and were told to begin playing. My group ended up playing twelve minutes past our scheduled ttime.

The tee boxes were okay, fairways and greens pretty good, bunkers a bit below average. The only problem was the starter didn't pair players up so the pace was slow with way too many onesome and twosomes.

Have played here a couple months ago and figured I’d give it another shot. As a local please spend your money anywhere else. This course is a money grab by the greedy owner. Way overpriced, staff is all punk rude highschool kids, bunkers are dirt, fairways are burnt up dead Bermuda grass, drains horrible so it’s always wet and muddy, pace of play is painful, the only silver lining is the greens are finally rolling nice and are in pretty good shape. If you can find a deal for $40 or under I’d consider it but otherwise run don’t walk away from this place.

Played the course with a Deal Time. Good value for the price I paid. I have an issue with the price they charge for range balls Small buckets (actually small bag) of maybe twenty or so balls is ten dollars and larger bag is $14. The greens were good & rolled well. Fairways were thin & bunkers were hard needing sand added Good course to play if one can find a deal time but consider the price they pay for range balls

SBW is in great shape! Range grass was perfect! Tee boxes were perfect, greens were very fast. Overall it’s the best I’ve seen it since it reopened. Highly recommend!
