About
Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is carved from gently rolling hills located just outside of Orlando in the city of Leesburg. Although the wide fairways are relatively flat, the golf course's terrain provides the greens with gentle undulation. Sparkling lakes provide scenery while also coming into play as water hazards on nine holes. There are also doglegs and bunkers throughout to provide the golf course with even more challenges. Much of the land that the club occupies has been preserved as a wetlands area, offering golfers a glimpse of native wildlife. In addition to its natural beauty, Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is popular due to its accessible layout that accommodates both low and high handicap players.

Great day golfing
First time to this course. Have golfed about 20 different courses in central Florida this winter and this was in top 3 for course conditions. Enjoyable round with another couple also new to the course and the consensus was that we would all like to repeat.
Great value
Generally Good conditions, a little dry, greens very good, best yardage about 5700,, max 6000. Long hitters can risk cutting several doglegs.
Foursome played in 3.5 hrs, even with some waiting.

Great experience
Fairways n Greens in great shape. An interesting experience. Par 72. Some holes definitely need course mgmt. Only a little over 6,000 yards from the tips. Perfect for seniors. Big hitters no need for the big stick. Hole 6 is a risk or reward. Par 4. 235 yrs. to the green over water or go around where a big tree could come into play reaching the fairway. Most par 4's under 350 yards. Some elevation holes.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful course. One of the best I have played. Greens, tee boxes and aprons were beautiful. Fairways were a little bare, but it is still winter.

The staff is always friendly, the course is in great shape, they do very well keeping the pace of play moving well.

Great course, and great experience
I had the pleasure of getting my 10th hole in one on hole #11 par 3 which played 137 yards today. This is a very well maintained golf course that i will recommend to all golfers who are looking to challenge themselves from any teeing grounds on the course.

Nice layout.. pace moves good. Some Staff could be a little more cheerful.. 99% of golfersare great people.
Course was excellent
Enjoyed 1st time playing this course. It was in great shape overall, couple of greens were spotty but did not really hamper play.
