About
Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is carved from gently rolling hills located just outside of Orlando in the city of Leesburg. Although the wide fairways are relatively flat, the golf course's terrain provides the greens with gentle undulation. Sparkling lakes provide scenery while also coming into play as water hazards on nine holes. There are also doglegs and bunkers throughout to provide the golf course with even more challenges. Much of the land that the club occupies has been preserved as a wetlands area, offering golfers a glimpse of native wildlife. In addition to its natural beauty, Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is popular due to its accessible layout that accommodates both low and high handicap players.

Members Only Club
First to tee off @ 7am, came to #10 had to wait to T off because members had teed off back nine! On 12 there were 3 groups that we had to wait on 1 on T, 1 in fairway, 1 on green! They only care about members !
I won’t B back & would advise nonmembers to not play !
Fake reviews
I hate playing a course that has fake reviews. Clearly, someone has gone into this app and listed multiple reviews , 5 stars, plays a few times a week, no other comments. This is a neighborhood golf corse, easy and boring, but in decent condition. It is not a 4 star, and certainly not a 5 star course.
Great day of golf
Fun course to play. Great for all skill levels. Some difficult holes but for the most part an easy manageable course. Course and greens in good condition. Keep up the the good work. Kudos to the staff. Will play when ever I need a place to practice.

Beautiful course with a fair degree of difficulty. Well maintained and fun to play
Nice Course
The greens are in immaculate condition. The fairways are in good shape. Staff are friendly. The people who play their are very friendly. They wave, say hello and everyone seems cheerful. The course has it’s share of water and accuracy is useful for a low score. An enjoyable experience all around. I recommend it.
Manager was rude
We were golf now customers As soon as we walked into the pro shop the manager was immediately rude to us. He then asked if we’re the golf now customers He acted like a
jerk through out the check in process. Regulars at the club told us this was typical behavior. Everyone one else was very friendly.but we will never return
Short but challenging
Interesting layout with fairly easy back nine and much more challenging front nine. Course in good condition. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful Cousre
I am never disappointed when I play at the Monarchs. Every thing is so well maintained and the staff makes sure that play is at a steady flow. Absolutely enjoy my round and the entire course.
Hidden Jewel
We were pleasantly surprised by the extreme quality of this course.
If I lived in the area I would most certainly be a member. It reminded me of Arizona desert golf; fairways and greens were green and everything else was brown. The area was wet when we arrived probably giving a dry course perfect playing conditions. Greens played fast even when wet.
#14 has an amazing view.
Will definitely play again!
