The Plantation at Leesburg offers two championship courses, the Cranes Roost Course and the Otter Creek Course. The Otter Creek Course features an interesting layout that is wide open on the front nine, while the back nine is rife with towering trees. Situated on hilly terrain, the golf course features gently rolling fairways and the medium-sized greens have some slight undulations. As its name suggests, a creek flows through the golf course and comes into play on several holes throughout. The semi-private Plantation at Leesburg provides two excellent golf courses, but they also feature a practice facility and staff of golf professionals to help players of all skill levels.

Terrible conditions
The course conditions were awful. Greens and tees in particular. While we played very quickly this course layout is poor for most of the holes. There are some on the back nine that are in the woods and the birds sightings were great. Too many holes were way too close to the houses beside the fairway. I won’t go back.
