About
The Plantation at Leesburg offers two championship courses, the Cranes Roost Course and the Otter Creek Course. The Otter Creek Course features an interesting layout that is wide open on the front nine, while the back nine is rife with towering trees. Situated on hilly terrain, the golf course features gently rolling fairways and the medium-sized greens have some slight undulations. As its name suggests, a creek flows through the golf course and comes into play on several holes throughout. The semi-private Plantation at Leesburg provides two excellent golf courses, but they also feature a practice facility and staff of golf professionals to help players of all skill levels.

Nice layout
Back nine was extremely wet . Standing water on a few holes. Unusuall since no rain here in awhile. Would have rated higher otherwise Also would have recommended if condition was better..
Under Rated
I was expecting a dog patch based on the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. I found the course very playable and a challenging layout. The greens were fast. The fairways had plenty of grass. Sure a couple of the greens had some bare areas and a couple of the tee boxes were chewed up. However on a grading system I gave the course a B+. Keep your ball in the fairway and out of the marshy areas and you will be fine. Now this requires you the golfer to hit the proper shot , not get greedy and you will be fine. The staff is very friendly. I will be back soon.
Otter creek golf a joke
Very poor condition, awfull layout. No grass anywhere including practice range and green. A waste of money regardless of the price.
Golf outing
Nice course to check how your safe play skill are at, the greens could have been a little better but pretty fast. The layout is challenging for any type of handicap, tie off the tee shots with 75% dog left or right.
Grounds Keeping
Why oh why do they keep cutting the fairways and greens so short when nothing is growing. Many fairways were hard tarmac.
Could be so much better
Several nice holes, lots of poor ones. Wide variation in conditioning from hole to hole
Challenging course
Great, challenging course. Greens were super speedway fast lol. Only real complaint is the leaves. Couple holes I believe they could of blown or mulched. Lost too many balls I shouldn't have only because couldn't find ball just off fairways in leaves.
Very Challenging course!
It's a shame, that the conditions were poor, to say the least. Starting with the Tee boxes, then the fairways, and finally the greens. There's so much work that needs to be done, I sincerely don't know if the plans are to bring this golf course back to good standing? But, I must say if you can get a Hot Deal, which I did pay $15 and got a 9:30 am tee time, you sure can't go wrong. it's a fun and challenging course!
Tough Back Nine
Easy check in, friendly staff, decent pace most of the time. Back nine was tough especially with standing water on a few holes.
