Windy Harbor Golf Club

Conditions are great but Hard for me to separate out the pace of play. I’m not wired for 4+ hour rounds anymore when I’ve been spoiled with an average of 3. Was hard to get in a rythem as a result. If that doesn’t bother you and you’re prepared for a slow round then windy harbor is great. It’s also possible that if you play not using golf now then you’ll fare much better. When using GolfNow they lump you all together ensuring a foursome

Superbly maintained course. Best greens I have putted on for some time. Challenging holes. Scorecard gives you tips on how to play/not play each hole. I would definitely play there agsin.

Always in good shape. I guess I really like it because I almost always play well there!

We were a 2 some, there were 6 4 somes in front of us. We asked to go off #10 as there were no golfers on 7,8,9 or 10. Starter said yes, Manager said no. Manager Made the comment that we were all golf now so no starting off of 10 for "you people"

Well named as it is always Windy and it definitely comes into play. Fun

I would like to thank the ground staff at Windy Harbor,from the cart attendants to the greens keeper it is always in immaculate shape.Mr Fine should be very proud of the product he is providing to our beaches residents and military families.Bogey’s bar tenders always there for a beer and a laugh. I hate to write these reviews at the risk of a much busier course but they deserve a lot of credit for what they are providing.Thank You All,Craig F.

As spring unfolds, the course condition improves: the greens are fine and the fairways greening up nicely. It's always fun to play Windy!

This course is comparable to most expensively priced courses.

The rates are cheap,the staff is super friendly and the course is always in excellent shape. The greens are some of the best in JAX with a great layout especially the back 9. Bogey's bar and restaurant serves delicious food and inexpensive beer and cocktails.I hate to write a great review with the thought of more people joining our little country club but I guess that keeps the prices low.Sign up for your MWR card and you won't be disappointed.

Whoever designed this course probably didn't put all those cart paths winding through the middle of this thing, but simply that element turned me off. The back nine was infinitely better, but even at $20 a round, I will go to NAS JAX or Kings Bay well in advance before hitting that course again.

Will be back time and time again, that should tell the story!

This little course (only about 6,500 from the tips) is a favorite. Wind can make it all you want. The conditions are almost always excellent. Usually during weekday afternoons the course is pretty wide open. On this day, once we got through the first 4 holes we felt like we owned it!

Great layout makes the front side and back side very different. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very good and pric d well

Friendly staff at the front desk and in Bogey’s. The course is in good shape and the pace of play to be expected with the number of golfers.
