Excellent course layout with greens that really hold well,very friendly staff and a great place to have breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. Great value

For the price that I paid for the round and the beauty of the course, I have not seen any other course that can beat Mayport.

Unless you have a preapproved DOD pass they won’t let you on the base. Wasted my money.

Good round with nice guys I met for the first time. I always like this course for layout, conditioning, and good value.

The golf course is in excellent condition, very enjoyable playing.

1st off; understand that I'm biased towards this course. I was stationed at Mayport a number of years and have played this track 100s of times. The staff is VERY nice, the food & beverage is great and the course layout is very fun. This is a military course funded in a unique way as compared to semi-private clubs, thus I would say the conditions are VERY good and the maintenance staff really works hard to provide the best value for the price. Some unique views of the world's finest Navy are available and pace of play is very good.

Thankfully the normal wind was down since the temp was only about 55-57. Course was in its usual very nice condition and due to weather we cruised around in about 3 1/2 hours.

The course was in good shape. Lunch before the round in Bogey’s was fast and a good value. The office staff was friendly as always.

I have mixed feelings - these are by far the nicest course conditions I've played in Florida. Sweet, fair greens and fairways although the layout isn't very interesting.

The negative is that as others noted - if you landed a HotDeal you're not as welcomed. You're going to be grouped with others who made that deal and expect a slow 4 hour round.

Thats lessening my rating a bit on an otherwise great golfing experience

I love this course--great value, good shape, plenty challenging.

After a full day of rain on Thanksgiving the course was fully soaked, cart paths only. It also lived up to it's name, Windy Harbor. As the round was being played the weather became sunny and perfect. Had it not been so wet the course would have been a great play. The course conditions are in good shape. I will play again and again.

Having worked at a golf resort and knowing the PGA "recommends" a 4 hour pace of play...... I take exception to a ranger asking us to "step it up" because there was a single and a threesome behind us. He continued to monitor us for the next few holes which I considered to be unnecessary and annoying. We were playing within the guidelines of the PGA, why not "encourage" the single to join the threesome if he didn't like waiting? It made an enjoyable outing a bust!

Very windy and cool day. However, play was very good. Course conditions especially the greens was outstanding. Will play again at every chance I can.

High quality experience at a good price,. Friendly staff and the restaurant has good menu options.
