About
Just a short distance southwest of the Miami International Airport, the golf course at Costa dels Sol Golf Club is a challenging public course that also boasts scenic views. Although the terrain is mostly flat, this course's difficult comes from the narrow fairways that are lined with trees. The greens are medium sized with some being slightly elevated. Water hazards come into play on the majority of the holes and there are also some sand bunkers as well. The signature hole of the course is the par 3 14th hole, which requires a tee shot past water. Costa del Sol Golf Club also has five long, narrow par 5s as well as some scenic par 3s.

Rough shape
Slow play, course is in really bad condition. Tee boxes and greens are super beat up and fairways are non existent. Won’t be back
Pay the extra 100 to go to trumps
I will never waste my time here again. If you like plush fairways and manicured greens then this is NOT your place. Super disappointed to have spent my day off at this atrocity of a golf course. The greens were more like dirt mounds. Fairways were equivalent to the grass in my back yard (except my back yard isn't full of dead grass and dirt pits.) I am not a cheap person but I am good at evaluating cost versus value. This place was $85 so I expected the grounds do be decently taken care of and have grass on the "greens." This was not the case. An absolute waste of time and money . I would advise anyone who wants to golf in doral to just go across the street to President Trump's course and pay the extra $100. You will not regret it. 0 out of 10, this place. Never going back. The burger was good and the waitress had a big culo.

Tried to make it work
While on vacation decided to try this course 3 different times. I’d like to say it was worth trying but I can’t. I never felt so unwelcome golfing as I did at this course. This course if for members and they barely tolerate nonmembers! The only thing they had going for themselves is the price!
Needs a lot of work
Played this course 8 months ago and the fairways and greens were in better shape . This time around the condition of the course was terrible . The greens and fairways need major attention. Truly disappointing second time around.
One positive was the course layout .
Pretty layout and challenging.
Course is pretty and has a nice layout and will challenge you. They have put time and money into fixing and maintaining it unfortunately this course does not drain well and has been wet and muddy the last few times I’ve played there..

Terrible course
Staff does not care . First time playing the course it’s in a community gate locked , called front desk she barely wanted to explain to me how to get in. I booked solo with a 3 sum so i could play with a group, when checking in the lady told me just go play by yourself . Which I found super odd… no rangers to take care of pace of play . Ended up playing as a solo and a 3 sum would not let me play through . Never ever go back to that course . Not to mention how bad of shape the course was in
