Costa Del Sol Golf Club

There was not a starter so there were a lot of uneven groups which led to a very slow pace of play. A Marshall would help this. The layout was very quirky. Hole 1 and 2 specifically. The tee shot for 2 had you teeing over the heads of the approach shot for hole 1. Ouch!!!! The greens were very slow.

The course would be really nice if they gave it the attention it deserves!!

For $70 this course is absolutely not worth it! It’s a crime they are charging so much to play.

The greens are diseased and sandy, the tee boxes aren’t even tee boxes it’s just grass.

Every ball you hit will be a mud ball.

Driving range overpriced $14 for a medium bucket of very old range balls..

Course it self is in poor condition - tee areas are not good , lots of sand , long grass .

Fairways , no real indication of 1st/2nd cut .

Greens /bunkers are not good , bunkers have the liner coming through in certain parts. Greens are in poor condition with sand here there and everywhere. Had tufts of grass sporadically on green. This course is tite and if you have a slice(power fade) AVOID ! (Unless

We had fun even though the thick grass was not our preferred one, balls wouldn’t run on fairways. Greens were ok. There was a lot water, frequently we had to study our shots to avoid it. This makes it interesting and fun and we certainly appreciated the pace, there were no waiting’s at all, on this time of the year we had a lot of waiting on other golfs all around Florida.

I recently played a round at Costa del Sol and found the course to be quite challenging. Most of the holes are straight and narrow, adding difficulty, especially being alongside the main road. The rough was exceptionally high, making it tough to find balls, which added an extra layer of challenge. Additionally, I wasn’t impressed with the greens’ grass, as it seemed to roll very little, affecting the putting experience. Overall, a course with potential, but with some areas that could use improvement.

The grounds crew complete lack of respect, cutting grass while teeing off or in the rough, just either run over your ball or keep cutting...go right in front of you while your hitting. They were still setting up the greens on the back 9 so had to wait until they finished. It's a beautiful course, just not for me because of a lack of respect for player and safety.

The course is challenging, but the greens are horrible. They need to keep up with maintenance. They should be charging around $25 if they want more people to play it with current conditions.
