Country Club of Miami - East

I play there a lot of time and it was good. The course is in terrible shape and the green are so bad we stop putting after 5 holes. We quit after 9 holes. Very very bad.

The Country Club of Miami exemplifies the crossroads at which many local golf courses sit these days. Once a thriving private club, it is now a 36-hole facility home to two golf courses that have seen their fair share of challenges in recent years. Tons of deferred maintenance and understaffing has the courses in fairly rough shape around the edges, but with Golf Miami-Dade offices on site, there is a focus on rehabbing the Country Club. In particular, there is a little pitch-and-putt course in significant disrepair. This could be a tremendous community asset if improved.

The East is the shorter of the two Robert Trent Jones designs, and despite its length (just 6,300 yards from the tips), it can sneak up on you, with greens where short-siding yourself is an easy way to make bogey or worse. The drivable par-4 8th is a highlight, and the course finishes strong at 17 and 18. Here's hoping the future is better than the recent past at the Country Club of Miami.

We just played 4 holes because it rained a lot....we had to stop playing and the course was flooded ..

Course condition was a little below average. Only a handful of greens is great shape. 1st green had a hole filled in with sand extra from the regular sand traps. Handful of tee box in great shape. Fairways was rough in multiple location.

They were running an hour behind at 8:30 am. I walked off and won't go back. Wasted $50.

Nice moderate course. The greens were nicely groomed.

Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in good condition. Sand bunkers have many as small rocks. Great practice facility.

Found course to be in good shape. Nice layout. Friendly staff. Awesome food in restaurant.

Needs better ydage markers at tee box and fairways

The East course is in good condition. The greens are in excellent shape and are very fast. It is not a long course, but the very high winds made the course much more difficult. Some of the holes had a two or three club wind in our face. This is a good course for a good price in Miami.

This part 70 course has it's challenges. Played from gold tees which is still <6K yds so not that long. It is a mature public course in decent/acceptable, though not by any means, meticulous condition and the layout is good. Some of the greens are on the smaller side which makes it more difficult and some green areas have nice undulations (not just the green itself but surrounding area). The greens overall were in good/somewhat fast condition. All in all good fun for the price. Couldn't have asked for better pace of play as played as a twosome and no one in front nor in back of us. I shot 84 just above my handicap if that's any indication of the "fairness" of the course. I absolutely recommend the scrumptious chicken wings for après-golf in the dining room

Good condition, friendly staff you get your monies worth! Just have the refreshment cart lady come more often it will be perfect.

The greens are in very good condition, they were fast, the course is fairly easy., time of playing 18 holes was less than 4 hours that was great

The food at the club house was not great, the course is in good condition, the greens are very good

There is not a lot of grass on the fairway, the greens are fast and in good shape and the lay out of the course is nice

With two 18 hole courses the CC of Miami is a really nice layout with plenty of availability. Nice greens & friendly staff along with a very convenient location that is easy to get to from anywhere in Miami. The price is fair for this municipal course with a nice sportsbar restaurant, driving range & chipping and putting greens.

The course is well maintain green side bunkers in good shape ball placement off the t on so holes very important players on the course repair there divots and ball marks on the greens

We'd played on the Sunday afternoon 1:30, amazingly looks like we're the only group play at the field, we did enjoy the nice and quiet course !

Nice layout for the price I have paid. The greens should be better. A lot of sand trap and water all along the holes. The east couse was as same as west course.

I recommand to play this course at fall.
