Terrible golf course. It looks like it is abandoned. No maintenance to fairways, lakes are nasty. No sand in bunkers. Horrible greens. Only East open
Don’t spend your money on this golf course. In 10 years playing this golf course I never saw it in this very horrible condition.
Greens Need Some Work
I had a great time playing. The fairways are really nice, the tee boxes are great, the only downside are the greens. It’s very difficult to putt, a lot of bumps from weeds sand, and many holes.
Fun But Needs Work
I love the course due to how great the pace of play is. I've almost never waited on a hole. Its challenging for someone still learning how to manage a course from hole to hole to lower my score. The greens need A TON of work. I did hear that they are going to redo the entire course so that's good.
Bad greens
Course use to be good, haven't play there since June of 2019 which was in fairly good condition. Don't know what happen but overpriced for its condition.
Embarrassing
Worst course I am ever played on. What is the green keeper doing? I can't believe they charge 31 dollars. Greens are horrible. I remember when the couse was the pride of miami. Everyone should get fired on the spot.
There are better courses for the price
The front 9 is in horrible shape. Greens are not playable. Some of the staff members are nice but most of them are rude. Save yourself $30 and the frustration and play elsewhere.
This place needs some loving
Having a public golf course in this area has always been a blessing for the neighborhood and has allowed the sport of golf to grow to a younger generation. This course however is not maintained in a par manner at best...I grew up playing this course as a kid but I do not think I will be playing here again for sometime. I wonder if the county sold the course to a private owner would be best practice ?
Given our current constraints- would recommend
Course has recently been opened due to our current Covaid19 constraints. Everyone is doing the best they can and this is applaudible . They unfortunately have raised the hole markers to compensate for social distancing and this causes some incorrect (assumed) downed putts. Just to get out to play is a plus so minor issues should be tolerated. Would recommend to play.
Horrible conditions
Has to be the worst golf course in south Florida
Don’t waste your money
The city doesn’t care to put money into this golf course or someone is pocketing the money
not worth the trouble
I play there a lot of time and it was good. The course is in terrible shape and the green are so bad we stop putting after 5 holes. We quit after 9 holes. Very very bad.
Looking toward better days
The Country Club of Miami exemplifies the crossroads at which many local golf courses sit these days. Once a thriving private club, it is now a 36-hole facility home to two golf courses that have seen their fair share of challenges in recent years. Tons of deferred maintenance and understaffing has the courses in fairly rough shape around the edges, but with Golf Miami-Dade offices on site, there is a focus on rehabbing the Country Club. In particular, there is a little pitch-and-putt course in significant disrepair. This could be a tremendous community asset if improved.
The East is the shorter of the two Robert Trent Jones designs, and despite its length (just 6,300 yards from the tips), it can sneak up on you, with greens where short-siding yourself is an easy way to make bogey or worse. The drivable par-4 8th is a highlight, and the course finishes strong at 17 and 18. Here's hoping the future is better than the recent past at the Country Club of Miami.
Info
We just played 4 holes because it rained a lot....we had to stop playing and the course was flooded ..

Condition
Course condition was a little below average. Only a handful of greens is great shape. 1st green had a hole filled in with sand extra from the regular sand traps. Handful of tee box in great shape. Fairways was rough in multiple location.
what a big embarrassment. Worst course ever. Waste of money. Embarrassing. Get a real greens keeper.
