About
The East Course at the Country Club of Miami boasts several famous players including Bob Hope and Jack Nicklaus. The East Course is one of two courses at the club. The layout puts a premium on strategy and accuracy and it can accommodate both the beginning and experienced golfer. The golf course is well maintained with a layout that features water hazards and bunkers that come into play throughout. There is some housing close to the course. The Country Club of Miami also has a grass driving range as well as large pitching, putting, and chipping areas for golfers to work on their short game.

Waste of time
Over priced, course condition sucked, staff NOT friendly or helpful. Got the vibe that I was more of a nuisance than a paying customer. Should have left when I had the chance.
The fairways are in bad shape!
Challenge course. Friendly employees. But the course itself needs lots of work. Fairways are just weeds and patches of dirt.

Ce terrain devrait être fermé. Seuls les verts et les fosses de sable sont de qualité.
Les allées sont en mauvais herbes et difficile de trouver des parcelles de beau gazon pour frapper, particulièrement sur le Sabal course.

Course in poor shape
I’ve played the East course quite often, but it seems to only get worse. The fairways have no green grass at all.
You get penalized for hitting the ball in the middle of the fairway! Either you end up in a patch of sand or hard pan, searching to drop the ball on a single blade of grass,
The areas near the greens are even worse than the fairways with crabgrass or ant hills.
I will say that the greens were the only part of the course that had some care given to them- slow but green.
It hurts to pay $65.00 for a course in such poor conditions.
Poor condition of course maintenance
Good value for a 18 hole , but the course condition is very very bad . very often on the dirt and not clean from leaves and others . A petty for such a great golf course , that was once upon a time a must play ....but i guess it lacks ressources . Sad
This place is a dump. It’s dried up.
The course is in the worse I’ve ever seen it been playing here for three years
Needs work
I used to play this course as a kid, it’s where I first learned. It was a shame to see how they let the place go. The clubhouse is run down, and the fairways need a lot of work. I did see they are working on course renovations so that will be good. Pace of play was horrendous. They let a 5 some of new golfers play and I had to skip two groups to actually finish my round under 6 hours. Staff was friendly but older and seemed like they didn’t want problems with the rowdy 5 some
Pretty Bad Shape
Fairways were really bad, Hard pan was all you found and maybe some weeds. Greens were not bad but every one had ball marks all over them. 5 hour round, horribly slow, the starter actually let out a five some. I'll never go back.
