About
The East Course at the Country Club of Miami boasts several famous players including Bob Hope and Jack Nicklaus. The East Course is one of two courses at the club. The layout puts a premium on strategy and accuracy and it can accommodate both the beginning and experienced golfer. The golf course is well maintained with a layout that features water hazards and bunkers that come into play throughout. There is some housing close to the course. The Country Club of Miami also has a grass driving range as well as large pitching, putting, and chipping areas for golfers to work on their short game.

Good course to try out
It;s a good course to try out. The condition is fair in general with small patches of yellow grass in fairways and greens. The layout is not too bad with a fair number of water ponds and bunkers. It's a good deal considering the fees in this high season.
Ok for the price
Greens are starting to bounce back, a bit thick but playable. Now time to get the fairways back to shape( there rough)
Liked the course - Pace of Play a Huge problem
Overall I really liked the course. The problem was I could not finish the round. It took me 5 hours to finish 15 holes and every hole there was a wait. There's no one out there checking pace of play and the pro shop does not answer the phones. Groups in front of us were scooping balls out of the water and hitting 10+ shots without picking up their balls and moving to the next holes. It was the longest round I've ever played and I was on track to have a career best round but could not finish due to the last 3 holes being so backed up it would have taken me 90+ mins to finish and I had dinner plans. Nice course, but management has to do a better job of managing pace of play.
East greens way better than the west
Played the West course last week. The greens were terrible... Pretty much unplayable. The east greens are much better. They are hairy and needs rolling. But they were playable.
Good Course
Very forgiving with good fairways and greens- Rough is longer but good course.
