Dating back to 1900, Winter Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. The course and clubhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Despite being a nine-hole golf course, Winter Park Golf Course is not an ordinary pitch and putt. Known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp greens that are heavily guarded by bunkers, the golf course presents a formidable test to even the most skilled golfers. The golf course is ideal for golfers looking to sharpen their short game skills. Besides offering a challenging game, Winter Park Golf Course has extremely affordable rates that make it a great location for catching a quick round.

maintenance
Many agree the course is lesser than its been in several years. 1 4 hour shift of filling divots, 1 4 hour shift of picking up tees...broken tees LITTER every tee box. That would be welcomed.
Chilly
It was a bit chilling when we went out. The pace of play was good fairways in pretty good shape. The greens are challenging. Was a little windy which added to the low temperatures. We’ll be back to play again. The staff were excellent!
Never A Bad Time
Anytime I don't have time for 18 holes or want to get out as a single this is my go to. Always a great experience, almost never get paired with a freak, even in less than perfect weather the course is a gem. Only knock is it can be very difficult to get an early tee time, especially on GolfNow. Other than that no complaints,
Great golf value
First time playing this course. My wife and I played with another couple. It’s a fun layout with an interesting mix of holes. Greens were in great shape.
getting a little worn
The popularity of this place is showing. Fairways look a bit more worn and divot laden than previous winters. Got to #6 teebox, saw a 5some on #7 green and a 7some on #8 green. Things are getting a bit loose out there.
WP9 a FL Classic
Absolute great local course, right in the heart of WP at the end of Park Ave. Course is great for walking and always in good shape.
There is a reason that this is the highest rated course in Central Florida
WP9 is everything that golf should be. Fun, challenging, beautiful, and fair. It truly is like a walk in the park
a 3 birdie day
Put it all together the other day...shot 34 (-1). This is THE classic golfing experience in central Florida.
course needs water bad.
I play the course fairly often. It's a great layout. Greens are in great shape & a lot of fun. But the rest of the course needs water bad. Most of the fairways are not in very good shape. Need a lot of work.
Muni golf at it's absolute best!
WP9 had been on my list for quite some time as I've heard nothing but amazing things about it. Safe to say it didn't disappoint. What a fun course!!
At first glance, might look "easy" on paper due to it's short length - but these green complexes did not mess around! A course that forces skilled players to really think through every shot in order to score well, yet somehow is still immensely accessible to those picking up a club for the first time.
Course condition was great all things considered and for the price, I'd go back every day if I could.
Absolute must play. I know there are plenty of great courses in Orlando, but this truly might be the best.
