Winter Park Golf Course

I've seen so much about WP9 over the years following Matt Ginella (Golf Channel / Fire Pit Collective) on Instagram, that I just had to play it while in town. WP9 did not disappoint!! The par 35 9-hole course is fantastic - nestled between a cemetery, railroad attacks, and old lovely homes, the atmosphere is so unique. The course is in great shape - yes, it's short but that doesn't mean there aren't challenges........sand traps, trees and greens with lot of undulations will test your game. We had such a good time -- and then we got to shop at the pro-shop! Well stocked with unique and reasonably priced wares, my husband both left with shopping bags. Can't wait to go back on our next visit to Orlando!

Winter Park Golf never disappoints. It has tight Green’s that make up for the short holes, and the condition is always top notch.

The turf was cut so short it was difficult to hit good shots. Green speed was fast but they were consistent.

Visit the area this time of year annually. A little disappointed with set up and conditions this year. Fairways too thin and hard. Little difference to the rough. Greens are rock hard and dont hold well. Several pin placements unfair due to conditions and have not been changed in the 3 weeks I have been here. Seems to be a bit neglected. Saving money?

Price is super low, guess you get what you pay for. Another city course taken over by low cost memberships that dont produce needed revenue.

Fun track to play if you don’t mind walking. Really difficult greens but really nice layout. Guy working was a jerk but still had a good time on the course.
