Winter Park Golf Course
About
Dating back to 1900, Winter Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. The course and clubhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Despite being a nine-hole golf course, Winter Park Golf Course is not an ordinary pitch and putt. Known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp greens that are heavily guarded by bunkers, the golf course presents a formidable test to even the most skilled golfers. The golf course is ideal for golfers looking to sharpen their short game skills. Besides offering a challenging game, Winter Park Golf Course has extremely affordable rates that make it a great location for catching a quick round.

Course was in okay shape- but it’s Feb. will get better
Great compact location
First time golfing here. Enjoyed the location away from Orlando. Course offered some.challenge to keep things interesting. Good greens condition. Also enjoyed putting practice area.
very nice course
I really enjoyed playing it. Came back the next day to play again. Only thing this course is missing is the back nine. It is an excellent 9-hole course.
Short, fun nine holes
Just what we were looking for after not playing for months. Well priced, friendly staff. Course is just nine holes and short, but mostly wide open, and entertaining greens. We didn't care if we one putted or six putted, both are possible on any hole!
Only course I have ever played that circles a cemetery, wasnt on my bucket list but it is now. Enjoyable game with Terry SR and JR, SR took top prize on this day. No power carts, but it's an easy walk.
Great course, great location!
Love playing Winter Pines. The front nine is a lot of fun, and the back nine is nice and short to wrap up the round. Cannot wait to play again.
An experience not to be missed.
WP9 has such a cool vibe, winding through the town center and catering to every demographic. It is wide, short and simple enough for beginners to have fun and success but the greens are so challenging and interesting that even expert golfers will find bogeys where it looks on paper like an easy birdie. That charm plus the ridiculously low price makes this the best value I’ve seen in the game.
Nice 9 Hole Layout
The layout of this course is phenomenal with very undulating greens. The fairways were just in average condition versus the past few seasons.
Always fun
Love this course. Everyone is easy going and enjoying 9. Very comfortable play. People are respectful of each other.
An unexpected GEM!
My golf-pro brother INSISTED we drive 35 minutes to play this 9-hole course while vacationing in Orlando, he promised, "you won't be disappointed!"
He was right! What a GEM! Nestled in the heart of Winter Park, this short, but challenging course had gorgeous houses lining one side of the fairway and a beautiful cemetery on the other. We played with 2 locals who said, "Yep! You have to have a reservation as the course is always fully booked - we play it to hone our short game and try out different trick approach shots." No matter the par of the hole, you can get a birdie or a bogey depending on the location of your approach shot... FUN! FUN! FUN!
Good place to golf
In downtown Orlando, a little gem to enjoy. Not for golfers looking for a highly challenging round but a very good warm up when first arrived in Orlando.
Fabulous Little Gem
Simply a wonderful course. Not long, but perfect for an hour or two of play. The only negative was the pace of play this day. The foursome ahead of us were painfully and offensively slow. I talked to other golfers on the course and apparently everyone knows who they are. So why doesn't the course do anything about it? The one little old guy couldn't even walk. He should be required to take a cart. But I still love the course.
Oh do I know exactly who you're talking about . . . I gotta think they love doing it ;)
