Winter Park Golf Course

Great layout, great greens. Tee box's need and are getting attention but even with that nicest 9 holes around

I love this course. Greens are challenging but nothing else is particularly special. I cringe when I see this course come up as a top rated, not because it isn't a solid course, but because folks will not accept it for what it is; an easy going fun course. One of the few 9 hole courses I've seen with 2 legitimate par 5s.. Both are reachable in 2 strokes, just unlikely. None of the greens will accommodate shots with low trajectories. Simply put, you're going off the back.

Fast, hard fairways with undulating, fast greens.

Course layout is a lot of fun - cool the way it weaves through town. Green complexes were excellent. I was paired with a couple of folks I didn't know - we had a great time together and one of them made the perfect point: if every town had a course like this, golf would be so much more popular. The course was full and we waited on just about every hole, but still got through in under 2 hours.

There is only two types of Central Florida and Orlando visiting golfers. Those that know WP9 and those who do not. Do You know yet? Either go find out if not or find a better score if You do. A good walk if Your able and a cart if needed. It's one for books of have played when passing through!

Enjoyed playing here. The pace of play was good; we even teed off early because they were running ahead of schedule. I’d like to play this course when the grass is green and growing. It’s a good course to play with your wife.
