Dating back to 1900, Winter Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. The course and clubhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Despite being a nine-hole golf course, Winter Park Golf Course is not an ordinary pitch and putt. Known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp greens that are heavily guarded by bunkers, the golf course presents a formidable test to even the most skilled golfers. The golf course is ideal for golfers looking to sharpen their short game skills. Besides offering a challenging game, Winter Park Golf Course has extremely affordable rates that make it a great location for catching a quick round.

great experience walking 9 holes.

The course is short but very interesting. A major and excellent re-design of the green complexes a few years ago make the course more challenging. The course is in excellent condition especially given how much play it gets. I should stop now before I induce to many other people to want to play it!

ABSOLUTE BEAUTY!

I love this course and rave about it to everyone I know. I have been playing golf for over 25 years and I believe this is one of my top 10 courses to play. I enjoy this course because of the staff friendliness, the immaculate greens and fairways, and the challenge. The only thing stopping me from being a member is the amount I play. I can’t get to the course more than once a week otherwise I would sign up for a membership. Totally worth it if you play more than once a week here.

Excellent course for modest green fees. Minimal Amenities (a small cold drink cooler) consistent with a small city course.

Sand traps reflect the heavy summer rains in Central Florida.

Great staff, great groundskeepers.

Economics

Playing the course is not competitive with other local courses of similar qualities. 18 holes with an electric cart is $56 per person, Other similar quality courses in the area $25 to $40. Having to make a reservation in advance, and specifically for the riding cart makes it inconvenient, no rain check policy found, except if the course close. It is convenient and a good course to walk, except for temperature and older people. Cannot rent a cart at the course the day of play.
