The course was incredibly soggy, significantly harming the quality of play and consistency of fairways and greens. Some very muddy sections, too, and caked bunkers as well. But we haven't had any rain in over 2 weeks, so this was entirely self-inflicted through poor course management/greenskeeping and awful drainage infrastructure. Otherwise this could be a great place to play, but in this condition even on a beautiful day with no recent rain made this course incredibly overpriced.

5.5 hour round..no Marshalls no help from staff

Why do we have membership for a municipal course???

Got a good deal and enjoyed playing on a beautiful afternoon. Cours conditions were very good but the rough was extremely penal. So much rain they haven’t had a chance to mow.

This is an excellent course. Long from any tee box. Great condition. However it was cart path only which increased playing time. Long walks to and from the cart. I plan on playing again- on a dry day.

Course was over watered. There was no rain and the course was a swamp. Not worth $119 on a weekend

The course was aeration 2 days before I t-off. I wish the management tell me in advance before I book.

Great course. Great layout! However…the course plays about 350 yards longer than what the scorecard reads due to numerous significant uphill shots. Play one tee box less than you normally do if you want to post a normal score.

I liked the layout, was quite challenging. The greens were in good shape but fairways & tess were inconsistent.

I’d play again on a weekday, I presume weekends would be really slow.

It's been a hot hot summer in DC area..the course was almost over watered. Greens are slow, slow so they can save them from the brutal heat. Even late afternoon, the course was so spongy from watering in spots.

Greens are huge , rough is still lush but not as thick in spots due to the summer heat.

The fairways is spots are full of unfilled divots. Some greens I could have spent an hour cleaning ball marks. It's public golf but come on people.

It's a great course. LONG, long even from white tees. It's a tough walk. Big elevation changes and long walks between tee boxes.

Fairfax County puts money into this course/facility. Great driving and chipping area. Food is standard but fine. Staff has improved. They still have this weird relationship with members and tee time availability to the public...It's strange having a public course with members. Eisman teaching center has it's HQ here, there's indoor and outdoor lessons, club repair, etc available.
