Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Coyote Run
About
Boulder Creek Golf Club boasts three nine-hole courses, which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. Though this Boulder City club is a bit off the beaten path, the scenic location is well worth the drive. The terrain provides different challenges on each nine. The Desert Hawk/Coyote Run combination begins with the longest of the three nines. Desert Hawk has plenty of room for lengthy drives and clear shots to generous fairways. There are also opportunities to work on your short game skills, it's a nine that will have you using all the clubs in your bag. The back nine is just as diverse with varying elevation changes that depending on where your ball lands can either be a boon or a punishment. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes.

Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Hidden Gem!!
What a beautifully maintained course with a staff that is so friendly and makes you feel right at home! I will be back for sure!
Great conditions
Boulder Creek is in great shape. Still need new carts.
fun round of golf
Varied holes that offer multiple challenges in. The greens were in fine condition and rolled true. . A good day of golf.
Great views and course conditions
Overall, good course for the money. Especially on a hot deal. Nice scenic views! Would play again when in the area.
Overall opinion
We loved the course. Not great golfers but it was easy to pick a tee off distances that suited our skills. Well maintained and very open for a desert course. My only suggestion would be to place more garbage cans on it. Usually you have one on each hole but this course only had them where they had water. It was very windy the day we played and we had issues keeping stuff in the cart which should have been in garbage cans.
Great course, slow play
Course is in great shape and the greens were fast and true.
Pace of play was slow. Backed up on the second nine where two groups waiting to tee off. They do have on course marshals, right? Never saw one and thought I would ask.
Great shape and great layout
The course is in great shape. Play here a lot. Great value for your money. Staff is great also.
Beautiful
The course was in great condition. Too bad people don't repair their ball marks but even so the greens rolled well and were fast.
Great experience
Course was in good shape for this time of year, staff was excellent!
Boulder Creek Golf Course
The course is nice but the golf carts leave something to be desired! They are old and wobbly and the GPS had been removed.....the ice chest was missing the lid so the ice melted way before the round was finished!
Worth the Trip
The Boulder Creek courses, there are three 9's, are a bit out of the way for most patrons but worth making the drive for. That's primarily due to the first rate condition of the course, fairways and greens, and the top notch practice areas. The layout itself is pretty ordinary, forgettable, and repetitive, with virtually no water holes, but again, the grass is in such fantastic shape that those drawbacks don't matter much, especially when factoring in the very reasonable rates. They must be allocated more water in Boulder City for use on the course because nothing in Vegas or Henderson comes close to these pristine conditions without paying triple digits. Do bring plenty of your own water, they don't provide any, and none of the ice chests on the carts have lids for some unknown reason. Still, all things considered, go play there.
You are slipping
Play here 4-10 times a year. Has been awhile. First we were told range balls were 10.00.. round is 60.00 and range balls are 10.00? Come on man, Piutte is 60.00 and is gorgeous, and free everything. Stop kidding yourself.. pace of play was horrendous. Get these groups moving who are holding the whole course up. Fairways were not good, couldnt tell fairway from rough. Greens were in normal great shape. Overall you need to get better if you think you can ask people to pay this price. Old carts and no GPS. Boulder City is a much better value in this area. That statement should wake you up, a muni is in better condition. Will try you again in 2022. Cheers
