Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Coyote Run
About
Boulder Creek Golf Club boasts three nine-hole courses, which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. Though this Boulder City club is a bit off the beaten path, the scenic location is well worth the drive. The terrain provides different challenges on each nine. The Desert Hawk/Coyote Run combination begins with the longest of the three nines. Desert Hawk has plenty of room for lengthy drives and clear shots to generous fairways. There are also opportunities to work on your short game skills, it's a nine that will have you using all the clubs in your bag. The back nine is just as diverse with varying elevation changes that depending on where your ball lands can either be a boon or a punishment. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes.

Great course!!!
Desert Hawk greens was punched but be ready in a few days but el dorado was in great condition and rolling good
Nice course
The pace of play was good. The course is in good condition. I like the undulating greens.
Only challenge was the wind, half the holes played into the wind. I know the course can’t control the wind.
I’ll play this course again.
Extremely slow play!!!
We played as a twosome because the other 2 didn’t get too the tee in time. We waited on every shot because there was 3, or 4 foursomes on most holes at one time. No ranger to move people along! It was so frustrating , so we just drove in and went home, and only played 10 holes in 3 hours!!!
Smooth track
I love playing this course. Fairways were in great shape, greens were in much better condition than the last time I played. Staff is always super friendly and the pace was fantastic. Finished job 3.5 hours. I can’t wait to go out and play here again!
Municipal Course in Good Condition
Course in really good condition, greens were fast -layout interesting. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food was really good. The only frustrating and discouraging part was the bunkers-Rocks everywhere in the bunkers -HORRIBLE, I had to use my junk club 7 iron out of every bunker-difficult at times.
Driving very good also -no mats a real driving range. for the money this a really good value, far better then the overpriced Reflections Bay we played the day before.
Slow Play
Play was very slow due to group ahead and course marshal asked them to move along but it was no use. Course Marshal was ineffective for moving golfers ahead.
Great course to add to your Vegas list
This is a great course and one that feels like a typical AZ course vs the super green ones you might find right around the strip. 3 - 9 hole tracks, each one fun and the fact you can get on this for 40-50 on a weekend is fantastic. The only down side is that you need to get here early as they may just shove you out 30 mins ahead of your booked time suddenly like they did today. The starter did not seem to understand the concept of warming up, I booked a time I planed ahead for that time to stretch, etc and he needs some education that just becuase he wants me to go 30 mins before I planned, does not mean I want to nor should I, esp when I am playing on a new hip and need the stretch. The rest of the staff seemed to understand the situation and were great. They hold college and NV championships here for a reason, it is a good one
CHECK w/the COURSE STARTER
First time playing this course. Arrived early as a SINGLE, hoping to get on early. The FRONT DESK ATTENDENT said NO. So I waited 90 minutes for my tee time. When I asked the STARTER on the course/1st Tee, he said YES, I COULD HAVE PLAYED ALOT EARLIER. He also said I could play the entire 27 holes, when I was done with the 1st 18. Alittle slow, and the group ahead of US , was going to let us play through, but the twosome with me decided to grab a few liquids before the second 9. Greens and course were in good condition. NO GPS in cart, so have an APP to know the course. Sometimes it wasa little hard to know where you where going
Nice Course
My round consisted of 9 on the Eldorado course and 9 on the Desert Hawk course. Desert Hawk was more challenging; Eldorado had nice wide fairways. All of the greens could have been a little better; somewhat rough.
The foursome of sloths!
The group we followed was so agonizingly slow that we had to wait at the tee box and again in every fairway. There was no one in front of the the fantastic four, as they were at a minimum of two holes behind.
The best part was they never once offered to let us play through. Oh, and we never once saw a marshal !
Wednesday afternoon of aggravation!
Nice day
Breezy day but the course was interesting and diverse. Had to use all your clubs.
Fun Course
I played the Coyote Run Eldorado course today. I am sure the more I play it, the better I will score. I am a 12 handicap and scored 85.
Greens are running fast, which I like.
Course personnel were terrific.
