Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Nice views Photo submitted by Don9789882 on 11/02/2012
Deal tee time was well worth it!!!
The course conditions were drier than I expected. The fairways were greenish but dry. I was expecting lusher conditions considering the cooler weather lately. Staff was great and everyone was friendly. Drink prices were reasonable, unlike many courses that have jacked up costs. Pace was good for a busy Saturday. The mountain views were worth the drive away from LV and Henderson. I don't think I would go back at full price, but that's just me. Thanks Boulder Creek!!!
I'll be back...
Upon showing up to this course my golfing buddy told me that the weather conditions were horrendous and to contact GolfNow for a refund but I drove all the way from Pahrump to continue our quest of playing ALL of the courses in the Las Vegas area. I'm glad that I was able to convince him to play 18 of the 27 holes that this course has to offer. Yes, it was extremely windy which only made the course that much more difficult but at the end of our round the manager came out and announced to all the workers that we were the duo out to play every course in Vegas. What an honor to be recognized in such a manner. We both loved your course and look forward to playing here again.
Two Games Played
My wife and I are non residents. We last played the course 5 years ago. This time we played two days in a row. The first day was windy and got a GolfNow afternoon tee time booked the day before . The next day we had booked a month in advance and paid a much higher price for a morning tee time.
Course was a bit rough in areas and tees could have been in better condition.
The course was fully booked the second day and pace of play was slow. There was a large group in front of us that had two four some's that knew each other.
Overall I think the green fee for non residents is high for the condition of the course, especially when you compare it with what locals are paying.
Challenging Course
I found the course to be somewhat challenging with many holes having wide crossing gullies which were dry due to the drought. So it you don't plan well, you'll roll into one of them. Course was in good condition - both fairways & greens.
I try and play this course every time I’m in the Las Vegas area. The course was in good shape for early spring, the greens rolled really well.
Check the Wind Conditions Before Playing
This was my second time playing this course -- did the Coyote Run and El Dorado nines for the this round. The Desert Hawk nine was open for play. Wind gusts made some holes almost impossible to play. Any lofted shots were getting blown off the fairways and greens. It was a rough day to play and the scorecard reflected it. If high winds are in the forecast, look for a course that has a little more protection than Boulder Creek.
Needs some love
I’ve played here for many years but the course iconditions have gone downhill.. Not bad if you can book a decent rate on GolfNow but I don’t think it’s worth 120 bucks for nonresident and the pace of play is always very slow
