Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Coyote Run: 4th hole, par-5: This long dogleg-left is complicated by an arroyo that will pester second shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Coyote Run: 8th hole, par-3. Palm trees add luster to a water-guarded green complex. A two-tiered green is protected by bunkers front and back. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: hole 2, par-3, 168: It runs downhill from the tees and features a tricky green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: fourth, par-4, 409: A tough if straightforward hole, but it still can be touchy trying to hit a green that is this well protected by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Hidden Gem in Vegas
Played here for the first time and it was a great course. Tee to green was in great shape. The only thing that bothered me was the white foam spray all over the fairways (early tee time) which made it difficult to find your ball. Greens were rolling true. So far best value in Vegas!
Boulder Creek Review
I attempt to play this course every time I visit Vegas and it again, did not disappoint.
Course offers a nice range and putting facility.
Bag attendants couldn't have been faster & efficient and check-in was a breeze. Pro Shop has nicely stocked merch.
Overall course was in great condition. Course offers 3 9's and each hole is not the same, as it meanders throughout.
Having played the course previously, it is nice to know where a few of the fairways end, so laying up with a fairway wood is ideal.
Greens were fast and rolled true.
Fairways & tee box areas were all cut to appropriate height.
Collars around greens perfect and all traps were raked (and easy to hit out of).
Worth the 25 minute drive (from the south end of the Strip).
Hidden gem in the desert
Excellent course, fantastic condition from tee thru the green. Great staff!
Great shape
The course was in great shape. Tee box to fairway to greens were well cut and green. Pleasantly surprised considering the rough winter in Vegas.
Nice course, but overbooked
Nice course with good layout. Some holes are quite challenging. Greens and fairways in good condition. The sand traps are partly without sand and hard like concrete. Better not go there. Flights go out every eight minutes, mostly foursomes. It bit overbooked. We needed five hours at the end. Thats too much. In one week Vegas we played average rounds of four hours.
Cool design, nice views, maintenance issues.
Overall I'm glad we played here however there are some real issues with the areas aroung the greens. Burnt up fringes, poa and divets were everywhere. This place would be great with a little more attention to detail.
Too slow but fun
I love this course, but the pace of play was far too slow this time. It took us 5 hours. The starting intervals for 4-some flights are only eight minutes and the guys in front of us did not manage to speed up a bit. Another issue are the bunkers. Better not go there. There is no real sand and its hard like concrete. But the fairways and the greens are in pretty good conditions. And the course layout is very good but also a bit challenging. Very friendly and professional stuff. We will come back.
Boulder Creek
Course was in great shape, pace of play was slow (it was a Friday) never saw a Marshall at all. I think we finished 30 minutes behind. I would and will play again.Staff at the club house and the started "H" were very friendly and professional.
Chilly
Weather was chilly and windy for Boulder City but course was in good condition overall. Played in under 4 1/2 hours with full tee sheets. Greens roller true and fast.
