Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: fourth, par-4, 409: A tough if straightforward hole, but it still can be touchy trying to hit a green that is this well protected by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Hot day!
Played in a very hot condition that I almost stop playing at the 16th hole. But we finished and I’m glad we did. The heat was so draining.
Jim From The Bay
Excellent condition, fairways very friendly, some tough but fair holes. Great experience. Can’t wait to play again.
Beating the rain
I showed up an hour early for my tee time and the starter found a spot for me immediately. My round took only 3 hours and twenty minutes and the greens were absolutely fast and fantastic to play. A few drops of rain fell, but none after the first few minutes.
Always a pleasure to play here as the staff is fantastic everywhere. My score for the 18 was 39 on the Desert Hawk and 39 on the Coyote.
Excellent Year Round Conditions
Overall great experience from start to finish.
I always utilize the bag drop before parking, the team is super helpful getting my clubs into the cart asap and prepped for the round.
Great pace for starter always keeping it going.
The timing was great for a 9:51am I was able to go out solo and finish my round in under 4 hours...amazing!
Smooth and rewarding
At 80 years of age, my brother questioned me for playing the course from the white tees. However, white tees it was. Having completed many lessons at the Harmon Academy in Henderson, NV, I was playing better than I ever had in my life. The first nine we played was Desert Hawk, a challenging nine. My score for this nine was 39. The greens and fairways are in great condition.
The second nine I had played before - Wolf Crossing, a true test of golf. My score here? 38 for a score of 77, with only 24 putts.
The nice part about playing here, is really the people they have working. Friendly, with a lot of info about the green speeds, and other things which affect how one plays. The warmup areas are great for irons and woods, chipping and wedging as well as sand play. If I had any criticism, it would be that the sand traps are not raked enough by people who play the courses. I was only in two traps but was in someone's footprint both times. In addition to reminding people to repair their ball marks on the greens, they need to remind them to rake their traps after hitting their shots.
I enjoyed it so much, I have scheduled another round next week.
Course/staff review
Overall great course, Cart cleaners kinda rude for first time being there. Dining was great. Indoor service was very good . All in all would recommend
