Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Coyote Run: 8th hole, par-3. Palm trees add luster to a water-guarded green complex. A two-tiered green is protected by bunkers front and back. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: fourth, par-4, 409: A tough if straightforward hole, but it still can be touchy trying to hit a green that is this well protected by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Hidden Grem in the desert.
Nice gem in the Desert. The course is very well maintained. The fairways are nice and wide but the greens are very difficult to read, but i loved the challenge!
Boulder Creek
I was expecting perfect course conditions seeing how it's spring now. Course was like winter conditions, not watered enough.. For the money spent I will seek out much better grass and ground conditions. Also not forgetting if there is any wind, it magnifies out in the tundra of Boulder Creek. Big disappointment.
Pleasant experience!
Great course with the golf now deal ($40 per person). This was my first time with my son. The course was in great condition along with the weather. The golf carts now have GPS and is very accurate since I also had on 18 birdies to assist with the course. My only complaint would be the practice range balls (1 star) are like hitting ping pong balls. But, the practice facility is top notch and is 5 stars...
Great layout
We enjoyed the layout of the course. The course wasn’t in great shape but I’m sure that was due to the seasonal changes. The course had a very friendly and accommodating staff. This was the second time we played the course and would be happy to play it again the next time we’re in the area.
Extreme Wind on a Very Dry & Sandy course
This was our 2nd day of 5 rounds booked whilst on vacation. Not sure it's fair to Boulder Creek that it was sandwiched in between 2 rounds at Chimera, but I'd say the course conditions were like night & day. While Chimera was in amazing shape, lush fairways, lots of green, BCreek was sparse, fairways patchy, just overall feeling of dry. The backshop guy that helped with our clubs after the round said we were 2 weeks ahead of overseeding, which would make a huge difference, but for the same money (all Hot Deals) both Chimera & Rhodes Ranch were way more enjoyable.
Nice day
Golf weather , nice player , nice staff , course has good shape . Green is tricky . Junior golfer friendly .
Course is so so
I play this course many times and when you book with Golfnow they treat you differently than a resident. Many times in the summer I book a late time for the rate and is completely empty and get there early to practice or just start. No balls included and hold you till your time even if it’s dead. Yesterday was a frost delay aka staff leaving sprinkling system on causing the over an house delay. Course was in ok shape but this is prime time and others are in better shape. They started to cheap out and paint the course green to fake the shape. Such a disappointment. Doesn’t help that prices are up for everything. I don’t mind to pay but the couse should be better for the price. They did update their carts and gps which was nice. I use my own anyways.
Good course for the $
Course was in good condition and staff was friendly and accommodating, only complaint would be 2 different groups of five allowed out on the course slowing pace of play.
Course is nice
Layout is nice, conditions were really dey but you can tell it just needs water. Lots of brown grass but at least it was grass. Greens were consistant.
First time
Overall, good time aging. Would have lkke to again as some course knowledge would have been helpful to save a few strokes.
Nice Desert course. Just watch out for the way some of the green will favor the break heading to the valley direction when it looks straight.
Nice course
Golfer from Canada. First time playing in Vegas, got a golfnow deal for $60 and replay for $30. Super value.
Layout was very nice, fairways a little dry but still very playable, greens were immaculate and delightfully tricky. Staff very nice.
Desert hawk and Coyote Run great tracks with nice contours and challenging approaches Desert mush it’s surprisingly playable. Eldorado not as nice as the other nines but still very playable.
Would play again.
We Will Return - Get Off the Strip!
Short drive from Las Vegas, very nice community and great people in Boulder City.
Course offers something for everyone, a great variety of tee boxes allows golfers of all levels to play to their abilities. Some holes allow you to swing away, while other need your course management/judgement to hole your par or better.
Conditions were very good, greens fast and true. Only hesitation on condition would be traps were more fine rocks than sandy….but won’t slow you down, we all got out with ease.
Value, quality, and fun..:.get out of town, put Boulder Creek on your list.
