This is one of the best course layouts in the area. Beautiful holes and the course is very well maintained.

Green are large and in great shape.

Each hole has a significant degree of difficulty depending on your tee box selection. Designed in and around water and wine vineyards, this course is beautiful. Good luck on selecting your favorite hole. Enjoy the friendly staff members who help give this course that extra touch that makes you want to return.

The course was very beautiful and a great challenge. It was extremely hot the day we played. The staff came around often with ice towels and the beverage girl came around alot. Great experience.

I've played this course probably close to 15-20 times and this was the best condition I think I've ever seen it in. It usually is in pretty good shape, but it was noticeably better this round. Tee boxes were flush and soft, fairways were full and well maintained, bunkers very well maintained with the appropriate amount of sand, and the greens rolled as well as I've seen from any public course in the area the last few years. Keep up the good work.

Great course. Tree lines fairways. Alert for in even lies. Greens roll true 8 in the stimp meter. Love this course staff was friendly and accommodating.

We were looking for a good alternative for Kingsmill or Royal New Kent since times were not available and were lucky enough to read the reviews for this course and decided to book an early teetime. We were so glad we played here. The layout is fantastic, the staff very friendly. The pro shop was nice enough to adjust our rates for a promotional rate they were having and it was greatly appreciated. Hands down the best value in Williamsburg golf. All in all, there are still some improvements that need to be made the pro shop and parking infrastructure but the course itself, the grass driving range and practice area were excellent. Despite a rain delay, we were able to finish. So glad we played here. It will now be on our places to play when we visit the Williamsburg area.

Challenging and varied layout. Front nine seemed to have more generous landing areas off the tee, back had some tighter holes. Plays long, so select tees accordingly. Very picturesque and secluded round of golf with cart paths winding through thick woods between many holes. Would definitely return with Golf Now deal.

Kind of out in the middle of nowhere but a tremendous course by a top designer for a very reasonable price. Scenic layout with almost no blind shots and first rate conditions, even in a summer drought. NO houses anywhere and each hole is well-defined and not parallel to any other. 6 sets of tees accommodate any skill level, as well.

Really enjoyed the

Layout of the course through trees on cart path and bridges. You would emerge into a hole that was well laid out and well defined. Some holes were not on woods. I really enjoyed playing the course.

Except for the slow pace of play and hot weather every thing was great. Never heard anyone say anything bad about this course.

Location is in the middle of nowhere

Played 18. The course was in very good shape, including the greens. Check in after making a Tee time with Golfnow was very easy. The staff was very friendly, from the cart guys bring the cart to the car in the parking lot to the marshall's we spoke with on the course. The beverage cart was out and hit us frequently enough that we were never asking, "Where's the beer cart?"

Fantastic layout; great conditions. Generous fairways and hard greens. Let's hope they keep up this course unlike their competition

If you like a challenge and enjoy playing in very natural surroundings , this course is made for you . Housing development yet to develop so play in natural, quiet setting. Can play little long just because of all the strategically placed traps you'll try to avoid. Main reason writing this review is because of the thank you we received. Have played another course on the other side of Richmond this year where even though played at a very good pace the Marshall was always visible and seemed to be in a surly mode. Gave my playing partner very unwelcome feeling. Here noticed Marshall couple times and once passed him between holes and he stopped had short conversation and we moved on. My partners were in another cart , didn't hear and were anxious as to what was said. He stopped said we thank you for coming out and hope you guys having great day ,knuckle bump , and continued on. Needless to say We will be back soon, probably in next couple weeks.

The place was very enjoyable however the lack of food/ drink near the 9th green or 10 the tee was particularly troubling. We had no idea that all we would see were the few water coolers set about the course. The staff did not alert us to this situation at all.

Love that every hole is world onto its self. Only holes that you can view another is from the eighteen and I think ten as they take you out and in . Course conditions very good , considering all the rain. Yes little sloppy in spots but really amazing shape of fairways , traps and greens with all the rain. Very interesting layout that can play long , just because of the doglegs and startgically placed traps. This is not a walking course. Long cart ride through the woods from each green to tee, but just adds to the beautiful natural setting . Last time had to play through some wild turkeys , this time just saw a couple does . Very nice practice putting and chipping green. Only thing missing is a 19 th hole . For those of us that enjoy a good lunch, cigar and beer after round , this is a small issue. Love the course and always treated with great southern hospitality. Will be back even though I live 50 miles away in south west chesterfield. Oh and thanks to the inconsiderate people that had planned an outing there and cancelled at the last moment. Gave us a great round in 60 degree day , yes overcast, but enjoyed the round immensely .

Staff were VERY friendly and helpful, as I've always experienced there - played here 4 times in my life. This time, our foursome (was the first time for 2) were pleased, and I guess too early for the wildlife - we saw none. The fairways are hard to get a shot off of with hybrids or woods - not much grass there yet. Better to stay with irons. A lot of sand - so beware and keep a look out for this! This was a good buy for the price, and we like the course layout. We would highly recommend Viniterra.

The course is a great design. I played a couple of weeks after the greens were aerated, so they were imperfect to say the least. That being said, I enjoyed the course and will come back again.

They had just aerated the greens. They were a little rough.
