The Club At Viniterra

This was the first time I have played this course, and I recommend it highly. We played the "up" tees (green), and it was sufficiently challenging for my twosome (both high single digit handicaps). Some of the traps needed work, but that was because it rained 3" the night before and they were working on the traps as we played. I will definitely return.

This is one of the best in the Central Virginia area. Great layout. Plenty of tee locations to match your skill level. We played from the "blues" but found out quickly at our skill level the "whites" a better choice. Good value for the money.

This is a Rees Jones design, with virtually every hole being different. Long cart rides between holes, through a meandering course, with lot of high and low areas. On most holes, your cart comes up from a ravine to the tee box, exposing the hole all at once. We played on a rainy Thursday, with only a few other people on the course. Played in less than 3 -1/2 hours.

Greens were large, fast, and undulating. Fairways cut low, with normal height rough. Play this course if in the Williamsburg, VA area.

We played 7/8/14 and enjoyed the course so much that we returned on 7/10/14.

Not only is this course the best deal in the area the course is in great shape and on a great piece of land.

This is an outstanding layout which was in very good condition, despite the heat and humidity of summer. Great value for the price!

Great course layout with some very challenging holes. Use the tee box that matches your handicap to make this an enjoyable round of golf. Sand traps were in great condition - I know, I was in them a lot!

This is a great design for an enjoyable day of golf and scenic rides between holes. A real test for long ball hitters. Not for beginners unless you play forward. Not a walkers course but a great one to ride. It had just rained a lot so we were on cart paths only. I look forward to my next round there.

I played with my father he is a good golfer but doesn't hit it far. He very much enjoyed playing the white tees at an appropriate length. While I can go to the back tees and challenge the course with my length. A very fair and challenging layout!

Always a good time here. Challenging course but fair

This course is a real keeper to my list when I am in the area. Once the course fully matures, this will be one of the TOP courses in the area. Tremendous value. There is no rough and plenty of fairway space. Hit the drive on almost every hole. Greens rolled true and consistent, with many undulations. The greens offer many locations for interesting pin placements. Didn't lose a ball as the woods really don't come into play. I would say - "Definitely try this gem!"

Fourth time we've played here (my wife and I). Staff always VERY friendly and extremely helpful. Course is well maintained in all aspects, course laid out nicely, and nice scenery. Well worth your trip. We always enjoy playing @ Viniterra. Staff keep up the good work, our "hat's off" to you.

Not for beginners,table top greens sourounded by bunkers and fairways are wide open.

Greens were in fantastic shape! Fairways and rough need a little more growing time but they were fine. Will definitely play again,

This is a dramatic course for views and challenge. There are several blind shots for the short hitter. The fairways are still very tight. This is a "big boys" course. Beginners and century shooters will not enjoy the challenge. The staff is first rate. We were in a five hour round, but there was a large group in front of us. It has a lot of the Golden Horseshoe but much much longer.
Put your ego in your bag and tee it forward for a great experience

I had been wanting to play this course. Finally got my chance and I can tell you it was worth the wait. This course gave me a comfortable challenge -- I'll be back on a regular basis.

What a value, course fairways half greening up as weather warms up, but are in wonderful shape. Many tee boxes, my wife and I just had a wonderful expeireance. Greens are great, bunkers had good sand but wet fron recent rain. Come summer this is a 5 star course.

I found myself in the Williamsburg area Early on Sunday wanting to play on the way back to n. Va. At the new kent exit off rt. 64 is the Club at Vinitera, a great layout that is forgiving off the tee with nicely conditioned greens. The only knock was that it wasn't May (the course had not greened up yet) a real treat that I look forward to going with friends a showing off.
