Course in good condition taking into consideration the heavy rain from the previous evening. I feel that value for money could be better, the prices have been heavily inflated recently.

Top course will suit golfers of all abilities. Easy on the legs some great views. Greens had just been dressed so a bit bobbly but have played this course in summer when the greens are fantastic. Totally recommend we will certainly be back.

First two holes ain’t the best but the course does get better but the green keepers went over board with sand which ruined my experience I’m new to fold and never experienced sand on the greens before

Course was very good. first time we've played it .greens were very good condition. Would recommend to friends to play the course.The only let down was when we finished we went for breakfast and there were other people in there been served .The person brought over some sauces for us brought us breakfast but we said we weren't part of the group that it was for .She took it to the right people took one more person's order and kept on walking past us and didn't ask what we wanted then she went back to the group and asked them if they wanted tea or coffee and walked past us again .we waited 15 mins then walked out to Darwen serves and got severed straight away that was the only let down for the club .They could of took our order then ask others for drinks after as they were still eating .

What a beautiful course. Greens were immaculate.

Played on Thursday and as soon as I turned upstage were very friendly and told me the course layout.

Come stunning holes and very good greens, gonna play this again with some friends soon

Greens excellent, fairways great, a bit too much out of bounds for my liking but a good course nonetheless

First 2 holes were a bit basic but the course grew on us albeit the layout was confusing and poorly signposted. Having said all that we enjoyed the round. Some challenging holes and good greens.

Everyone we met wanted to talk and were friendly.

Overall a great little course

I’ve always lived relatively locally but never played here. I thought it was a lovely course with lots of interesting features. A tough start to the course before it does open up a little bit still plenty of hazards to plot your way around. Greens were well kept and ran true, with a couple of them having a few tricky breaks to read. Will be visiting again.

Great course, stunning views, friendly staff and superb condition

Super course, can't wait to play this again in the future when I'm a better player! Great condition all round, greenkeepers should be proud, man in club shop very friendly too!

Cracking course . Greens in very good fast condition .

Really enjoyed playing here .played a few courses in the area .mainly quite hilly .this is a great walking course not to testing for a bag carrier like me .playing solo met 2 lovely members who let me join them .course in very good condition and a very good test of golf ..would definitely play here again
