Good course
Great course but 2 things a dont know why your not allowed buggys to push your clubs around. And my course planner was.on different holes from were I was
Blyth compressed
Course was in reasonable condition for the time of year with winter tees, a few winter greens and bunkers undergoing maintenance. Sadly the course now occupies circa 85% of its former area due to sacrificing some of the holes and practise area to new housing. The club have done their best to fit 18 holes into the reduced footprint but the exercise hasn’t been entirely successful with yardage now reduced to 5,700 off the amateur tees. Personally I wouldn’t want to pay anything more than £20 to play the course during the summer season with £15 [as charged] being about right for winter golf.
Cheep and clean
Staff friendly and helpful when needed course in good condition considering weather
Blyth golf courses
We played yesterday great day out course played very well being into Nov really good course will play again after lock down
Hidden Gem
This course is a hidden Gem in Blyth would very much recommend it to golfers of all abilities.
The office/pro shop very much keeps strict COVID standards and devices fitted to the flag to stop contact by hand.
Some small minor confusion hole 10 still had hole 9 on it making two 9th holes.
Hole 14 Tee was very much confusing.
However please do not be put off by this it’s just due to some modifications they are making.
Just wanted to be open and honest.
Interesting corse
Layout of this course was good had some interesting holes but this was let down by the lack of info(Pictures) on the score card and the tee box
Score cards not updated from new corse layout a hole had been added or changed from a par 3 to par 4 this was confusing as a guest
Played this course a few times as it's on the doorstep. A couple of holes have been sold off for housing. Course is still yet to be restructured but will play fine once it eventually is. Mid week game so not very busy. Will be back.
Decent course. Some challenges on the course. . nice views. All greens in play.
Good value nice course
We had an enjoyable days golf on Monday 9th September 2019 afternoon 4 of us. Very nice course although a lot of dog leg holes. The course was in reasonable good condition although the fairways were patchy in parts. The greens were good. We teed off about 2pm and it was dissPointing to see children (probably aged 9 to 12) about 8 of them on the course around the 16th hole and messing in the bunkers. Sad when that happens that was about 5.00.
I would still recommend the course as well worth playing.
Played numerous times as on the doorstep, unfortunately for the past month or 2 it's been 20quid a round so played elsewhere instead. Took advantage of a hot deal of 10quid. Nice little course and always enjoy it
Beautiful Course
Seven of us with handicaps ranging from 8 to 28 played this course on a sunny Thursday afternoon.
The course was in fantastic condition with challenges for the lower handicappers but not to off-putting for the higher handicappers!
The staff in both the club shop and the bar were very friendly and went out of their way to help and guide us.
Thoroughly recommended!!
Blyth
The course & deal were very good . Will suit all types of players---plenty of dog-leg holes & you need to think about your shot--not just blast it like other nearby courses . I was made very welcome by the young lad in the shop but the bar area is a bit dour--no views because its upstairs in the roof . Over very good !!!!!--------I will be back.
