great condition greens
overall really enjoyed this course. There had clearly had a lot of rain as the bunkers were semi flooded in a lot of places but the drainage to the rest of the course was clearly good as you couldn't otherwise tell. The greens were very receptive but still very well maintained and super fast for the time of year. Overall very impressed and will be back again soon
Fantastic course
A mix of easier and challenging holes, beautiful area. Close to a small airfield so you see some great old planes flying overhead. Food and drink excellent value
Great course needs investment
The course is almost a contradiction in terms. The fairways and the general course conditions are great. Unfortunately the greens are not in good condition and incredibly slow. Also the bunkers have minimal sand in. It's a pity because it's a good golf course. If your a big hitter the fairways are wide and easy to hit. The course needs some money spent on it
Long grass on fairways
The course was really quiet which was probably due to the length of the grass on the fairways. They looked as if they hadn’t been cut in days. The back 9 in particular was full of daisies and sometimes not easy to find your ball which is ridiculous on a fairway. Greens very slow and obviously suffered some damage. Overall not one we would come back to
This course has been on my list for a while. Friendly staff and a little warm up area off grass and not the usual astro turf which was a nice touch. Sunny all round, weren't held up by anyone but presume this was due to being midweek. Enjoyed the layout and will be back but the only downside are the bunkers which were like walking on gravel and this is reason knocked rating down.
This course has great layout
Excellent course, excellent value for money and excellent service off staff
The course is a true test
Played once before and wasn't disappointed again ,it's a good challenge a little wet underneath but considering the rain we've had ,the course was in good condition looking forward to playing here again .
Very wet !
The course was very wet today and tbf we have had poor weather. Greens are very poor. Bunkers were gur but were in poor condition (grass growing in several) rubbish on and at the side of the course
Course in excellent condition
Played in very windy conditions with my son and thoroughly enjoyed the course which was in superb condition with quick greens. A true test of golf but not overly demanding which will suit most levels of handicappers. Used the driving range beforehand and had drinks in the bar afterwards where the staff are friendly and welcoming. Good pace of play with our round lasting 3 hours 40 minutes. Always happy to play this course when we are staying in the area.
