Impressed
First time on the course and really enjoyed it. Good course to get your driver out, but watch out for the many well placed bunkers!
Greens although spiked, still played pretty well. Course layout and scenery very nice.
Friendly welcome and an enjoyable course
Having not played here before I was given a friendly welcome by staff and members upon arrival. Enjoyed hitting a few balls on the grass range before teeing off. The course is in fantastic condition, the fairways are wide and the rough is cut back which makes for lots of inviting tee shots. Most holes flanked by fairway bunkers around 200 yards of which I found plenty. Although the course is quite wide it plays fairly long which means a fair few hybrids (at least in my case) As the course is fairly flat and wide it does lack the charm and beauty of tighter tree lined parkland courses with none of the holes particularly sticking in my mind. Non the less a good day out and would recommend, especially for those who don’t like loosing balls in long rough or water hazards (as they are few and far between). Was on the slow side when I played behind a couple of groups comprised of the older membership however i don’t imagine that is always the case.
Good Course
Great layout in great condition.Friendly reception in pro shop even though we were late for our tee time. Will definitely be returning soon.
Fantastic
A great course overall, the course was in excellent condition particularly the greens.
Great Course 10/10
Every time i've played Burgham Golf, which is roughly 8 games its been an enjoyable experience, fairways are wide so you can give the driver a good hit and the greens are always cut well so you get a true roll on putting.
Overall a great course and one i always look forward to playing.
Amazing
Second time playing this course, first was in winter and I thought it was lovely then however the summer course is amazing, the greens were fantastic the green keepers have done a 1st class job, fairways are in mint condition just a really great place to play, I would highly recommend and will be back
Immaculate.
Had not played here for a few years and I have played a lot of courses this year in the north east, this is one of the best condition courses I have played, it was immaculate.
Enjoyable day with my son
Fab to play the course played it about 15 years ago.
It was even better the sun was shining but a tad windy. Also to be playing a round of golf with my son made the day special for me on a great course.
Love playing here
Weekly trip to Burgham and once again it didn’t disappoint
Challenging, rewarding and photogenic
A tough course if your out of position, wide fairways give you plenty of room to play from the short stuff but if you hit a loose one you’ve probably lost it.
Can tell it has held some big events in the past with the layout.
Well worth the £20, we will be back!
