Nice course
Since the new green keeper has been here the fairway are emaculate some some greens are still suffering from the bad winter we had but overall the course is very enjoyable to play.
Worst I've ever seen it.
Played here a lot over the years and can honestly say it's the worst I've ever seen the course, there had been a lot of rain during the night but the greens are obviously in need of better drainage, most had standing water and walking on them was like being on a soft mattress. The first par 3 had the "winter green" in use and was just a hole in the fairway with no attempt to make it a green. Won't be playing here again anytime soon.
let down by poor condition of the course
no one there for us to see before we played so we just teed off as they didn't open till after 9. course wasn't in the best of conditions some of the fairways were quite long and boggy in places. temporary green on one hole that was just a hole on the ruff fairway no effort to make it playable. really slow pace of play a 4 ball would not let us a 2 ball through and took 2 hours and 15 mins to do 9 holes so a lot of standing about waiting. would not recommend this course shame as it could be a really nice course if better looked after
Fine day at wallsend
No waiting course immaculate. Greens spot on ,only wish people WOULD unplug holes on greens and put divots back.

I'm not a regular golfer, but I have played this course more than any other( because it's local, and fairly priced) and this is the best condition that I have seen it over the last couple of years
Not good!
Greens and fairways in poor condition. 2 groups in front very slow play and wouldn't allow me to play through them!!
4 holes closed due to weather
Whilst the closed holes didn't' impact on the routing of the course, it did impact my overall enjoyment. Wasn't impressed with the course conditions for my first time playing this course. Very boggy and muddy on fairways. Condition and closed holes spoiled play and although this is the closest golf course to me I am unlikely to return.
