Poorly kept

The course is in terrible nick at the minute, and not because of the weather, there's as much grass in the bunkers than out of them, and rock solid sand, one was even filled with rolls of turf!

Lots of bare patches on the greens, tee boxes were torn to shreds.

Won't be playing again until it's tidied up, which is a shame as it's a canny layout.

Doorstep golf.

Enjoyable game of golf at Centurion park.

Course is in good condition, with greens in exceptional

condition.

Bunkers not playable, due to maintenance by ground staff and seems to be some major restoration of the course ongoing.

Bar closed due to covid 19.

Solid.

Back nine more interesting than the front. A solid round and reasonable condition. None of the holes were spectacular but none dreadful either. Handy location if you live in Newcastle.

Great course hidden away in North Tyneside

Played as wind for forecast and usual course is very exposed.

Very friendly course, play held up slightly by a couple of pairs ahead but that wasn’t an issue , still got round in 3:30mins.

Forgiving rough and fun to play. Bunkers not in the best condition but that didn’t matter.

Par 3s quite long and some interesting holes, look forward to playing again now I know the layout.

A good play to play if you are still learning as doesn’t have that stuck up elitist feel.

First round playing without any woods (because I hate them !! ) and made for a much happier time ;)

A great afternoon out with my dad, many thanks

Great course however...

Great course, with good facilities. Some decent holes. The greens were being worked on during play and most of them were terrible. Hopefully not something that happens all the time. I was just out for a practice so didn't spoil my game.

Impeccable Greens

We played this course for the first time in a while and have to say it’s always an enjoyable hit. The fairways were in great nick and the Greens were stunning. Couple of the Bunkers could do with some love, particularly the 4th, no flag on the 11th, or markets on the 17th Tee Box . All this aside it’s a canny hit for a non country course

Lovely Hit, great Greens

First time playing this course for a couple of years and it has been kept in great condition. All fairways were in good nick and the Greens were the truest I've played in a long time

Really Canny Short Course

The whole course (although greens in particular) was in great condition. Course layout is a bit bizarre overall, although I did enjoy the quirkiness of back nine, which featured 4 par 3's.

Getting better

From when the course reopened after lockdown to now, it has improved greatly but theres a lot of work to be done. Greatest concern are the bunkers which with a few exceptions are just gravelly stone pits. Please put some sand in them!
