Being early in the growing season I found the course okay, greens have been treated with bunkers still out of play. Plenty to challenge you with some fairly long holes. Worth a visit.

Well I can say with absolute certainty under no circumstances will I ever play Wallsend again. Course was beyond shocking. Not a single sign for holes or not yardage guides anywhere. More empty cans of special brew in the bushes then a tramps rave and not to mention you'd be better off putting in the minefields of Angola. They were about as consistant as my dad's ability to be a father.

BEER CANS EVERYWHERE

NO RUBBISH BIN

ALL BUNKER FULL OF WEED AND HARD MUD

TEENAGER HANG ROUND THE COURSE AND MESS ABOUT

THIS GOLF CLUB SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!

Definitely NOT worth for £20... there other golf club cost £8-12 are way way way far better that

Good course but not well maintained

I have not played here for about 18 months due to better value for money at other courses. I’ll start with the good - the course is in decent nick, the greens are decent and I love the layout of the course. There are some really interesting holes. Now the bad - you could put your mortgage on the 4th green being a temporary one, it never seems to be in play. The worst thing though is the bunkers, there are more weeds in them than sand! If they sorted out these issues it would be excellent but the same things have been a problem here for years.

Avoid late tee times

Great course well looked after. Unfortunately took a later tee time and the 13 to 15th holes

there where groups of teenagers hanging round the course, just generally messing round. Removing flags standing in groups on tee box and greens ect.

Would definitely recommend but go for earlier tee time.
