Chorlton-cum-Hardy Golf Club

I’ve played Chorlton GC several times and have always enjoyed it. This time around the course - especially the greens - was as good as I’ve ever seen it. I’ll be booking in again very soon. Congratulations to the green-keeping team - amazing job!

Drove 1 hour to this course as it was available on golf now so we booked it, we get here and the fella in the pro shop says the course is closed and we can’t get a refund. I would not recommend booking this course

Course had survived the worst of the weather of late. Greens were very firm - who knew? Fairways and rough as good as they are in the summer. Greenkeepers are magicians hete. Chorlton is a lovely course made even better by a very warm welcome in the 19th.

Booked as a 2 ball, arrived and went out with another golf now 2 ball making us a 4 ball. Course was it decent condition for time of year. Had to play some holes off matts and some off grass. Pays £16.99 each.

We had a great first round at Chorlton with a warm welcome from several members. Huge thanks to the pro for letting us on despite my idiotic failure with the booking. First time playing here and I will be back.

Course was a good mix of holes to keep it interesting and challenging on the long par 4s. Greens were excellent if a little tough to read at times.

The course lay out is good with clear indication for all holes. I love the green which is quite challenging, not easy to read and putting. Hole 13 is quite interesting for the first time golfer here. I was quite struggling how to mange the second shot. I was no idea any water resistance beyond the hilly bump. Only two unpleasant things making my golf-mates dislike it. One was a lot of mosquitoes and the second was birds poo poo on the fairway every where . Impossible not to step on the birds' poo poo

Best course I’ve played for a while, some testing holes but a good challenge. Very friendly staff and members, all round a great experience and I will definitely return!

Lovely course, missing a half way house and it was super slow on the Sunday that we played, lots of waiting but loved the course, some fantastic features and the greens were in good condition

Well prepared course in great comdition. Greens were immaculate fast true but interesting with hidden borrows. Some short holes but all had interest

Great wee course for the money. It may not be the longest but it’s a fun round of golf in short distance from Manchester city centre. A few getable Par 4s for the longer drivers is offset by some tricky par 3s

Greens and fairways in great condition, had a 6pm tee off time and the pace of play was great. Not too busy on the course. Very nice course to play

Absolutely superb course, challenging. In fantastic condition, greens fast and true. Definitely the best course in the area, and will definitely be back

The course was in great condition, hats off to the green keepers. It was excellent value for money and we would definitely play here again.
