Chorlton-cum-Hardy Golf Club

Played on Sunday 2/4/2023 was looking forward to playing this course due to seeing it on you tube quite a lot.I know we’re still in early spring, and weather hasn’t been fantastic. thought the course looked a little tired needs a good refresh and tidy up. also on arrival we’ were informed holes 4/5/6 we’re not available which I think should be highlighted when booking this only added to the disappointment.the fairways were very boggy in parts yet the greens were rock hard,also the first was very patchy. hopefully in the summer it will improve, but still think it needs a good bit of investment to bring it up to scratch.

Played Chorlton for the first time and the welcome received by members and staff was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and the members out on course were really friendly, especially the Captain elect, Steve, who made a point of coming over to us to say hello, a really nice touch.

We had a fun day and enjoyed a drink and good food in the clubhouse after our round.

The course layout was really good and for the time of year not in bad condition at all however at £33 we felt it was overpriced compared to other clubs in the area and for the time of year. We were off a number of forward tee mats and the first green had clearly just had some drainage work carried out on it and the other greens had been top dressed recently.

I would definatley play again and would recommend to friends but in the summer.

Really enjoyed my first visit here. Course is very well maintained especially at this time of the year. Credit to all the green staff.

We joined our son who has recently joined the club and what a fantastic course. Great condition for this time of year, nice open fairways. We only played to hole 13 due to time constraints. Only negative would be the fact that all holes after number 7 are going away from the clubhouse so not easy just to play 9 holes. Will definitely return.

It's the first time I have played the course after watching loads of videos of the golfmates and it didn't disappoint, can't wait to play there again

Played here on bank holiday Monday and from getting there to leaving was a great day food is good value and drinks are also good value

I really enjoyed playing this course. Unfortunately we were playing behind several 4-balls and a society outing so the round ended up being almost five hours.

We will come back and play this course the next time we are down in this part of the country.

Played here for the first time and the condition of the course was excellent. The greens were being dressed as we played but still ran true and speedy. Some of the holes were stunning for a parkland course nestled away.
